The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra Nnamdi Kanu is still in the custody of the Department of State Services and in protest to his continued detention, the group directed residents in the south east to comply with a sit-at-home order on Monday.
In Owerri, the Imo state capital there was partial compliance as most shops, markets and financial institutions were under lock and few vehicles were seen on the major roads.
