Yeah this would have been top news if I was in charge of news broadcasting bc it’s better than all the negativity and death they throw out at us non stop daily. So many stories don’t make the news, good and bad, and the bad always out weighs the good and they pick and choose what stories to tell. So why not show the good more often? Bc bad brings worry and fear so therefore it brings in more views. And fear leads to control so I guess the real question would be why show any good news when fear is how they gain control. And I’m not even into sports lol

@@conniee. Never heard that saying, but clearly it makes sense. We should collectively stop entertaining the bad as the viewers, but the thing is it’s just not that easy, especially when it’s stuff that’s happening close to home. Many stories from my town never make the news, so that just means more towns are in that same position as far as things not making it to the news. So I guess it’s safe to say that there’s most likely more to choose from in the negative stack than it is the good stuff, sadly enough. 😞

Humans are the world leaders in distance running. It's the fast running that we have a problem with. Usain Bolt's fastest speed was about 28MPH, and a housecat has a listed top speed of about 30MPH. But the fact remains that a human, that lives a running lifestyle, can chase down literally every wild animal on the planet. There's a few dogs that we bred that can beat us, and a properly trained, fed, and ridden horse can also beat us. We probably won't ever be masters of both distance and speed.

@lordgarion5148 ай бұрын
@@jacobjones5269 Not a different mechanism. Everything is different. To get to an extreme takes a LOT more than just leg muscles that go fast. Go look up a video of how a cheetah is able to run so fast. Their shoulder blades are completely disconnected from the rest of their skeleton. And that's not the only thing they had to evolve in order to go so fast. There is no single mechanism that allows speed or endurance. Humans went with endurance. And our entire bodies are built for it. Lack of hair and sweat glands allow us to stay cooler. Having hands allows us to eat and drink while running. Our pelvis is much more evolved for being upright, including running, compared to anything else that can walk on 2 legs. There's a LOT of differences.

I don't need to outrun the bear. The bear needs to outrun me.
@ybuburxyutcertyffyyneyb26803 жыл бұрын
You wouldn't be running in a circle against a bear and a bear weighs a lot you could outrun it by zigzagging depending on distance. More mass means more energy needed to turn. Which is why a small car turns faster than a large car.

@@ybuburxyutcertyffyyneyb2680 That's like the dumbest comment I've ever seen posted on Yt, and so I cannot wait to see the video from when you get eaten by a grizzly
@ybuburxyutcertyffyyneyb26803 жыл бұрын
@@rhianimal19 Humans are extremely slow but nimble the zigzag maneuver could work to survive. I wouldn't recommend it because its more risky than standing ground but it could work especially on a really hot day. A bear couldn't run a hundred feet on a 90 degree Fahrenheit day.

Imagine if the dog had been a greyhound... She would have come in a distant second! Props to her for taking it so well, though. That could have completely thrown her (and would have thrown any number of professionals). Good luck with her future endeavours!

@@judithrandall4690- Words like adjectives do not always follow narrow literal definitions; in the UK for example, "brilliant" is often used as the colloquial equivalent of "awesome". Besides, the dictionary also has it meaning "bright" & thus it could equally apply to bright & happy things (& moments, ppl, places, etc), the way it describes light itself. Why harp on ppl's word usage in FUN contexts? Let everyone shine _brilliantly.._ ♡

@@SimbiAni The bright description in the dictionary is referring to light… as in “the brilliant sunlight.” But yeah, it is indeed a common descriptor used in the UK to say something is fantastic. Judith was quite ignorant to not know that.

Superb deep cold reservoirs with wonderful names: First Dam, Second Dam etc. Incredible deep lakes supplied by swift snowfall mountain creeks. Nearly froze trying to waterski in June. Have to wear full wetsuits to survive cold water. Glorious!
