It's good, but unless you have control over what format video you'll be playing you will be getting yourself into lots of issues. For a bigger range of format support better go with flutter vlc package.

media_kit is a way better package that works cross platform. video_player doesn't support Windows & Linux It uses mpv so it supports literally every format & codec of video

It does, but also not. I tried use media kit on android with presentation display. The video just does not work as on Windows it play normally.

Great job. But it's funny how achieving the kind of horizontal slidable video displayed in this video with just the video_player package is really a pain because of the issues with instantiating its multiple controllers.

The way the tape operation is shown in the video is really not productive, there you need a minimum of 3 video controllers per tape which is heavy. If you use the video file preloading scheme and form a single controller, everything will work productively

There's a huge bug, while building on MacBook Android Studio, a black/green line appears on the right side of the video for vertical videos.. when I build on windows Android studio.. there's no issue

This player is awful. Web view with web player works much much better and it is really weird, why for so many years flutter doesn’t have even one good package for playing videos. This package is fine only for small lightweight mp4 videos.
