If you don't like Black veil brides, how do you feel about the Andy Black album?
@andrew619carmona8 жыл бұрын
I liked a few songs, loved the first single "we don't need to dance" but it didn't pull me in as much as I wanted it to, I want to like his music just how I like his face. It just doesn't pull me, I thought it would because "We don't have to dance was amazing
@moneshamahmood58498 жыл бұрын
i personally loved 'Ribcage'. 'we dont have to dance' was the first song i heard from his solo album and i loved it, but when i listened to the rest of the album i found some of the other songs better. like, 'Beautiful Pain', i would have never imagined Andy singing something like that but it just works really well.

Andy says so many amazing words during these 5 interviews. I respect him so much for being an educated artist it's an amazing role model even if he isn't trying to be one.

This was one of the most enjoyable things I've watched. It was great seeing Andy talk about so many different subjects and really giving an insight to how he became who he is today. It was definitely great to watch and I would love to see another one like this on Andy but also the other members of Black Veil Brides so we could see how they came to be who they are today and learn more about them.

Oh god. I just finished all 5 parts of this interview, and now I have no idea what to do with my life. But honestly, this was probably one of the best interviews he's ever done. I have so much respect for him not only as a musician, but as a person. BVB will always be one of my favourite bands :)
@leora279210 жыл бұрын
All the shit out there about Andy can't compare to this series of videos of Andy in the living flesh talking genuinely about his life. He's given true and personal answers, not just an article with a few voiced thoughts. This is probably THE ABSOLUTE BEST interview of Andy Biersack out there and if you truly want to know about Andy, this is what you need to watch, not read something about it online.

He talks real, he is very well grounded and he understands. Someone's past says a lot about them, he is smart, respectful, and extremely kind to his fans and peers. That's what makes a good musician, or anybody who might be taken as a role model
@malinasantiago11 жыл бұрын
Exactly, he seems more real and honest than every other Artist out there. And I respect him alot. His past his so interesting.
@krissybiersveil172011 жыл бұрын
I agree. But mainly because my past is exactly like his in terms of blinders and the fact that I dressed as a freak without realizing that other people were and it was a literal fad because of music because of those blinders. It's like a voice you never get to have
@malinasantiago11 жыл бұрын
I guess that's what is interesting to me because I never had blinders. I've always lived where people dresses the way they want. Dressing like a "freak" is still sometimes used because I like in a black dominant neighborhood but I also went to a school where it had many different races and styles, so racism wasn't really a problem. But so much racism happened in the streets. People don't realize how often they use people's races to hurt people.

I've always found Andy very intelligent and mature, and I was impressed by what he had to say and said (since the beginning of his career), the words and message he spread, the way he reflected and his talent in speaking. But as if God didn't let any human being be perfect, Andy has a big flaw that, it seems like, couldn't be answered by his reason, whereas his mind is so comprehensive. I've always been disturbed by the fact that he smokes - for the only reason that it's unhealthy, said the other way round: It hasn't any benefic healthy quality. And for me, it seems that Andy is indifferent about that; smoking is part of his person, and the fact that he is in that point flawed (It's important to say that we, the fans, think, he's especially great, perfect, flawless, etc. But he, of course, never said or claimed that, in contrary: He claimed not be a greater person in any way than any other person - that attitude is what makes him great amongst others.) makes him at the same time human, authentic, unperfect. This flaw is irritating, because at the end of the day he damages himself, and this has been for so long now. I'm still impressed that he is still that beautiful. There's that contradiction that irritates me: He tells us not to do selfharm and to find an healty and happy alternative; but what does he do?! He does selfharm. He is killing himself slowly. No, I'm not exaggerating. There's a risk. Since I got to know him until 2013, I was really worried about his health. In my impression he had a very unhealthy lifestyle in general. For me it was painful to watch such a beautiful, talented and intelligent young man destroying himself. Especially when this man is really important for you and is an wnrichement for your life and you love him.After that I took distance. I knew that I couldn't change anything. It is his problem. Besides I have the impression that his lifestyle improved, concerning his alcohol problem, and I hope that he smokes less than he used to. I don't know anything, actually.I disagree, when Andy says that what only matters is to do something substantial in your life and that he doesn't care if he dies early. What about his fellow men?? We will be all very sad. It's substantial to be healthy. Health will allow you to use your full potential when doing something that is substantial. Look at his voice: He is ruining it. And with that his singing. And finally his career. How can be someone so silly to artificially shorten his life?Lung cancer is nothing to joke about. It's painful, and it's silly to be indifferent to it.I may sound too hard. What I am saying is to 100% useless for the concerned person. The thing is, Andy is ill, addicted. He takes a burden. He has to fight. He wants or he doesn't want it. Only he can do it. The earlier you begin smoking, the more damage it has on you. It's sad that he didn't decide not to smoke before he began. What is not any excuse for him to continue. It's a flaw. All we want him is to do well. However our wish should not be important alone. He has to care about himself for him and because of him. Everything is fine if he smokes little, so that his health can be maintained on a good level. If he quits/ he'd quit smoking, that will/would be one of the biggest achievements in his life, and I'll/d be very proud of him. That would show the defeat of will power.
@diesect3310 жыл бұрын
i would on the surface, appear to be an unlikely fan but my musical goals aren't too dissimilar in truth. my problem is my health getting in the way. I find it odd that people can love or hate someone so much based on surface appeal like appearance and dress and not know anything about the person but that's what fame IS. people are always surprised an old school hardcore punk guy that's into underground music is also into bands like this and 50's do wop. i just love music. i'm not a huge fan of the image thing but you have to sell it so it's good to have one. i find Jynx's CROW makeup a little cheesy but the rest is fine. i have the graphic novel he has actually struck poses based from lol.......but yeah i like the band and the image helps draw people in that are a little more into appearance than substance so it serves a point. I'm a chuck schuldiner type as far as dress code goes lol. but yeah i like them and it surprises people. i'm surprised in return people thinking i wouldn't like something just because OF an image (the flip side to that shallow coin i referenced earlier lol). i like what i like. if i don't like it i just don't spend time on it put simply. hating bands is a waste of time, if you don't like what they have to offer there's a million others out there to dig through and find some personal merit in.
