Yes, Iron factory is top notch spot on and far beyond the rest. Even as a legend class company they rival most other third partys.

Looks awesome, and a really nice representation of that "ultimate form" from the comics. I was a little worried at first, in the earlier part of the revivew, thinking that Minimus Ambus was too large to fit into the armour and they just left that function out, but then you brought Minimus back in and showed that there is a way from it to fit in the armour! Man, awesome stuff from IF again.

The only trouble I've had with Iron Factory stuff is that I've had a number of tab breakages (the tab that connects IF Sideswipe's roof/windshield part to the hood of the car got stuck and broke off), and some pin join cracking (IF Sunstreaker's legs - not the knees themselves, but the yellow pin joints). Those are the two that spring to mind immediately, without going to inspect my others. I think I've had similar cracking issues on some of the Bruticus guys as well. Otherwise, I love IF!

Great review. Being a MTMTE/Lost Light fanatic, I feel obligated to point out you see Ultra Magnus alt mode in MTMT #13. But like I said, I'm a fanatic. But you know about Minimus Ambus so all is forgiven ;) I bought this guy for Minimus and ended up loving the whole package.

We see Magnus's alt mode a few times but not in this body. This is the Maximus Ambus from Dying of the Light, when the DJD attacked them on the Necrobot's planet, which we don't see transform

You do see this alt-mode in the comic's, when they all go out drinking. Ultra Magnus passes out and they have to jump on him in their human forms to get him to transform so they can drive him home. But he transforms upside down : m.imgur.com/96wIWFm .

I saw pictures where the legs are a bit longer is there some way that they could extend?

If you bend the knees a bit, the knee pads can actually fold inwards and store under the thighs. This prevents the legs from being perfectly straight, but he has no trouble standing with the knee pads stored there, and it gives the impression that the thighs (and hence, the legs) are a bit longer. I suspect it was intentionally designed to allow us to hide the knee joints during posing and whatnot.

Wait...listed at TFsource, Lord Scorpion is supposed to be 7.1" tall, and this Final Armor City Commander is 6.5" tall. However, your comparison clearly shows that those measurements are not correct. Can you measure them yourself from feet to top of head and let me know how tall they are, please? Thanks.

Well, I mean you do see Magnus' alt mode in one or two issues... Like when the gang was at Hedonia and kept jumping on Magnus to try changing him into his alt mode so they could drive his passed out drunken ass back to the ship. But that was the previous armor, so...

Love you reviews, but you triggered a pet peeve of mine. So, just an FYI, but, "A chain gun has a single barrel, whereas a Gatling gun and a Minigun have multiple rotating barrels with no internal chains to drive the weapon."
