Video review of my car "FroSTy" the focus st225.

Cleaned the car earlier and thought I may as well do a bit of a review of my car. I missed out a fair few mods (durenza radiator, rs oil cooler, autospecialist torque mount, autospecialist quick shift, rs spark plugs to name a few lol)

J N Georges I was after a scooby before this but insurance quotes came through the roof for them when I had enough to buy one and this was the next best thing for cheap insurance. great car and sounds well.

Nice ST mate.. I'm on my 2nd EO ST-2... first one I bought new in 2006. Was tempted with the white and the blue stripes. Only got a Cobra cat-back and DS Perf+ remap on mine. Cannot decide whether to spend money and take things further, or just sell and get an RS. The RS is a lot of money though..considering how little different it is to a decent ST

hi mate do u have any problems with the front splitter hitting stuff, speed humps, driveways etc ,love the look of frosty looks smick

Ady g no was fine mate. did get light scuffs but as long as I took my time was all good. however this splitter did go bye bye at the Wales wrc this year as coming off tarmac onto grass there was a big rock buried that I couldn't see as it was 6:30am and pitch black and was hidden by a drop. snapped the splitter completely in 2. I now have a replacement (same splitter but colour coded) looks much better

Thesperminator 69 I've worked out how to get over bumps without any scrapes lol. catch the odd one but not enough to damage it. This splitter I did brake though, caught it on an iron bar sticking out of the ground when I was at the wrc in Wales. I have an up to date video with the new splitter

Thesperminator 69 yeah I was. had the car on display there and when I was driving past the Scooby stand they where all saying listen to that, his suspension has collapsed. it was the splitter scraping underneath lol. And yeah I'm on stoc. FroSTy has changed quite a bit since this video

yer you should do mate, and show us what it sounds like with the milltek and induction too! It's just the brutal MPG thats putting me off over the ST180

dUb ™ mine isn't bad on fuel. believe it or not I get very good mpg, motorway I average 40mpg. town driving about 25mpg. guess the hybrid turbo spools higher up the revs so I'm not on it as much so saving on fuel. it's very strange how the set up I have theoretically shouldn't work and should be really thirsty, but it's spot on. I've a few videos of the induction noise and exhaust on here. not done an induction one since I was running the new engine in but still hear loads of flutter :)

hi I had the same problem with my liners was running dream science around 290 tried to repair it with block mod only lasted 1 week so decided to get a full rebuild with bd performance got there uprated block and cp 340 map the car is brilliant can't recommend them lads enough kills golf r s darin chester-le-street

my headlamp washers do not work. the windscreen washers work fine but the headlamp washers do not its causing me a headache .ive been told that its the motor or loose wire. also i have overspray on the headlight can anyone help me pleasw

Not needed to change the diaphragm mate, just the oil cooler

@@JackTerry87 I've modded my st and the oil diaphragm kept blowing so had to get airtek to upgrade it. My mate didn't have to either so must be something with my car. I need to change the map I think don't think it's agreeing with my car.

Slowley lol. It's fairly easy tbh. My driveway isn't flat so when it's on my drive the splitter looks lower to the ground than what it actually is

@@K33EEE Kee Abella since this video mate a lot visually. Had a half wrap, colour coded rs spoiler with a moulded extension. Front splitter changed (same style but colour coded). Summer strut brace, hardrace wishbones, rear anti roll bar, k-sport 8pot calipers and 356mm discs. Bigger exhaust tips. Rear lights tinted. Quaife diff, saches rs clutch with solid clutch plate. 20mm spacers on rear. Euro rear fog light. And probably more. Take a look at my other videos you will see it on there :)
