At Donington Park I attended the annual RSOC National Day and during my visit I captured some truly amazing Ford Focus RS' accelerating hard and backfiring!

Hi mate, unfortunately all of the RS' in this video all have aftermarket exhausts. However there should be other videos on KZbin of RS' with a standard exhaust. Personally I think an aftermarket exhaust is a must for an RS :)

+Sandro Dos Santos - Nice, congrats man! Well there's a fair few exhausts out there but it comes down to personal preference. There's KMS which is very loud and bangs a lot (and in my opinion is the best) or there's exhausts such as Milltek, Boost Junky, Piper, Mongoose, Cobra Venom and a few more. It's definitely worth looking up those exhausts I listed as they all sound amazing but like I say, its down to what you want. Also they can be quite pricey. Hope this helped and enjoy your amazing car! :D

Yes, Mk2 ST's are the best in my opinion. The sound never gets old and they are so fun to drive! Haha the Mk3's are a bit boring aren't they! Thanks for commenting :)

***** It's a great engine, 5 cylinders make it sound like the granddaddy of them all..the Audi Quattro S1.. The engine sometimes gets some stick being from Volvo..but that doesn't bother me in the slightest. It's simply a great engine! Mines remapped to approximately 280 bhp with a Dream Science Perf+ map, Cobra non-res, cat-back exhaust & K&N air filter. Quick enough, any faster then I take my TVR out! ;)

+waynester71 Yes the Quattro S1 is a monster! Yes I always see VXR forums hating on the 5 cylinder engine in Ford's just because it was originated in a Volvo although its a powerful, well engineered strong engine. The engine is great and one of the best sounding hot hatches ever! My brother currently has a facelift ST in Electric Orange and is running over 400hp. He had all the internals of the engine fully forged along side a PumaBuild 400 remap, RS turbo, 550cc injectors, Airtec intercooler, K&N Group A induction kit, Piper exhaust with de-cat and down-pipe and lots more! Great car and never gets boring to go in. It also shoots lots of flames haha ;)

***** Those are some serious modifications & power numbers! I'm sure it sounds epic!! I've been tempted to go further, but it starts getting proportionately more expensive as the power increases, block mod, uprated/RS clutch etc.. Your brother has the best colour for an ST as well.. :)

Not sure, some people love it and some people hate it. Personally I think they sound great but I much prefer the flutter :)
