just got it yesterday and still putzing around with it. when i ordered it, it said blue tooth capabilities. I took it for granted i could blue tooth sound from the Avantree over to my blue tooth wireless buds. the add did not make that clear. may have to send it back and wait for their newer model. \ FM is good. still messing with programing. thanks for your time.

Hi, unfortunately its Bluetooth capability only allows it to be used as a Bluetooth speaker, not the other way :)

What is the speaker specification (wattage)? Is the audio quality same as it is advertised in this video?

It is 3W. About the audio quality, yes, it is the same as the video.

How does one use an aux antenna to boost this product's FM reception? Merely plugging one results for the system to switch into "auxiliary mode" with nothing happening afterwards e.g. nothing in the background. Alternatively, leaving the aux antenna plugged while the device runs on FM mode does nothing to improve its reception.

There's already an antenna on the product, not sure why you'd want to plug something in?

​@@Avantree Did you mean the "built-in" antenna? Then, why does the product promote the use of either an aux or usb antenna for an enhanced reception? Where I am at, I could use a better reception to reduce, if not remove, the static noise from the FM radio. The speakers work fine, though, as I can hear music from the SD card cleanly and clearly when in SD Card mode.

Is anybody else having a problem with the product where it runs at full volume upon bootup while plugged to a power source and cannot be toned down? So, the battery that came with the product died on me today after several months of intensive usage (I run it for hours on end day after day), which leaves me no choice but to have it plugged to a power source in order to use it. The problem, though, is that whenever I open it while being charged, it then runs on full volume and would not lower down. I have had this as an issue with the product, but did not really pay much attention to it until only now that it's completely dependent on an external power source.

Did you mean playlist? I don't believe so. However, you can still play the music files that are stored on the SD card.

I have a bluetooth speaker which would be okay for me to use as an audiobook reader, but getting it going and adjusting the volume is fiddily. I needed one for my wife that needs to be very simple for her and with the on/off switch being a rotary knob and volume control I thought I would give this gadget a go. I put just one audiobook on the card and when she finishes that I will replace it with another to avoid confusion. Turn the volume control for the first time and it defaults to bluetooth mode when it first starts. Press the mode button once, the machine goes to sd card mode and starts to play the audiobook with no further input by me. I noted where I was and switched it off. On switching the device on again, it went straight to sd card mode and started right from where it left off. I have tested it five times now and each time the result is the same. The battery is an easily obtainable Nokia BL5C, and the timbre of the reader is reproduced in a satisfactory way. I think it will give my wife hours of pleasure.

I’ve downloaded tons of music to an SD card, however when I insert it then turn the radio on it says “No File”. Any help on getting my music to pop up?

Hi Sierra, what file format is your music in? Our SP850 only works with MP3/WMA/WAV formats. Also, what size is your SD card? We only support up to 32GB SD cards, so if yours is bigger, you may need to use a smaller one.

@@Avantree Hello. It’s been 1 week since I’ve received my radio, still unsure why my music on my SD card isn’t popping up after inserting it. I’ve tried MP3 file and WAV and the radio still says “no file” after inserting the card. My SD card is 32gb. Any other idea why music isn’t popping up although it is in the correct format? @@sierrab118 In this case, your SD card should be working. You can try conducting a Factory Reset by selecting it from the settings menu. Access the settings menu by pressing the "MENU" button. If it is still not working, please contact us at [e-mail] and an agent will troubleshoot your issue.

Hi there! You can use SD Card up to 32GB. Please make sure the sound source is mp3 or wma or wav.

I can vouch that a 64Gb one works. Just make sure to format it to FAT32 file system. A program like EaseUs Partition Master can do the job.

The reception, while good, could be ideally better with a built-in antenna. I'm still figuring out how to properly use an aux antenna on this one. Merely attaching one to it does not seem to do the job, I think.
