To answer your question about why Senna didn't get up earlier "if she had the power to do it all along": Akshan, the roguish middle-eastern type character who shoots Isolde at the end, uses an ancient relic weapon called "The Absolver", which has the power to bring someone back to life if it's used to kill their murderer. Because Isolde's resurrection came at the cost of draining the life of everything that possessed a fragment of her soul (the music box, Gwen, and Senna in this cinematic, but also a bunch of other artifacts and Yorick's "Maiden of the Mists" canonically), shooting her with the Absolver returned life to all those people.

The Cinematic is in that spot of being held down by how the Ruination's story line went, which wasn't received well by the League Community. It doesn't help there's three versions of this ending: this cinematic, the comic, and the one in the game. Also, there are some more characters that joined the Sentinels of Light that didn't appear, like Irelia, Riven, Ranger, a giant feline being, Olaf, a man who wants to die because he doesn't want to die in peace in his bed, along with some more characters who got the hit by the Ruination, like Miss Fortune and Draven who could of helped at the fight. Also, Gwen, the character who got stabbed who's also a doll, has a pair of big scissors, which also makes her a melee user.

its really just a recap on what happened in the game if they showed everything that cenimatic would be atleast an hour long thats why its so short

The large majority of League Players is pretty dissappointed with this whole Plot Arc... Although, I for one don't mind it that much. The animation of the cinematics is still amazing and the whole theme of the event looks epic, even though the plot might not be the best. The music is gorgeous as always and I think the most important part about these events is that it looks and feels epic and it certainly did for me... There were things to improve on and the money that was invested could've been spent a bit better, but in the end I found it decent. For Riot's normal level it is not as good, but in general it is still amazing work... Not many Videogame companies could've made such epic cinematics, so I don't really see why it gets so much hate. It really is pretty fine I think, not much to complain about from me.

Thats respectable! I for one am of the mind set that story is king but tbh it’s not so much the story itself but how its being told thats slowing it down. It feels too “safe” Like no one in the key creative team really wanted to be unique in the telling of the story.

@@ShatteredFocusProductions I can see that. I agree that the story has its flaws and problems, you named a few of them yourself during the analysis. I personally just didn't really care about the plot of this certain event so it didn't really have any meaning to me in the first place, I just liked the theme and the looks of the whole setting :) I mean if there is one thing you cannot actually criticise Riot for in any of their past or present cinematics, its the looks and the music and I appreciate the quality they are able to produce in that matter on a regular basis...
