Hi Sir, what other function s can be done on the gimbal interface and the fz2500 , can it access start/stop movie recording, exposure, would it be the same for ak2000?

From what I have tested, I can't control the FZ2500 functions exception for the shutter button to start and stop recording.

I shoot everything with my fz2500 and it is hard to find rigs, cages, (and gimbals) that work/fit with our powerful little video camera Great vid...it's a lot of fun and informative BTW

Dear Master, can you please ask me and ask others. Because gimbal ronin does not support fz2000 camera. Of course, this is only true on paper. It may be connected with a Panasonic cable. Please help me and ask me 🙏🙏

Thanks for this video, Ive got a couple of handy hints from it. Question 1: When you balance the camera with the lens extended does it give you a bit of leeway to retract it, without unbalancing? I have a Sony RX10 M4 that has that issue, but its a 600mm. Question 2: I know Lumix has a built in intervalometer (I have fz80), but have you tried motion timelapse from AK4000 gimbals settings? Cheers, very helpful as usual..

1. When the AK4000 is turned on and stabilised, then I retract the lens, the Ak4000 continues to keep the camera balanced without issues. 2. Let me do a video on motion timelapse. Thanks for the suggestion. 😁

@@videolane extending the lens fully and then balancing it, worked fine on my Sony RX10M4, I was able to retract and extend it without complications of unbalancing, no software for RX10's only RX100's on the app, sadly.. So, a big thank you for the tip, also motion time lapse worked as soon as I figured it out, still looking forward to your video on it, cheers.

I haven't tried other gimbals for the Panasonic Lumix FZ2500. Initially I had some problems, but after some experience I can use the AK4000 smoothly. I recommend it's new version though, the AK4500.

I find gimbal is still at pre-matured stage. Segway and hoverboard technology were made available many years ago that is self-balancing. But gimbal today is a total disappointment! still need to tweak and balance and re-balance and re - re balance. Nonetheless, its a great review.
