@@Stay-hard I am not familiar with the free version since I liked it so much I purchased it the first time I used it. So what features are offered in the free version I wouldn't know for sure. Sorry about that There are 2 different paid versions too, there is the basic for about $30.00 and the unlimited version, that allows unlimited audio files and all the custom features for about $60.00. I've u used the cheaper one for years and it's served me well. I just upgraded to the unlimited version just recently and I'll let you all know if it's worth it in a future video.

I'm guessing that KZbin pays them for using the music. I will only use KZbin approved music from the link I showed in the video. I agree, the people who made all that music should be compensated. And I'm sure they are. From what I can tell it's actually a pretty good business to be in, making music for KZbin studio.

A Question : what format would I export to so that I can watch a video edited on Videopad to watch on a TV . I have tried several formats with no luck , am I missing something ? Thanks

I use the very top (or first option) , which just saves it to the PC. I think it saves it in an MP4 file (I think). I forget now what files it saves it in as I use the default setting. After that, if I want to watch it on my TV, I transfer the file to an SD card and plug they card into my Nvidia TV box and watch it. I don't use Roku sticks so I'm not familiar with that former and my LG 65 inch flat screen doesn't have an SD card slot, so I wouldn't be able to use the card directly on the TV. Other than that I'm not sure how to help you. More information on your TV and how you have it set up might help. Good luck to you.

I had been using iMovie on my phone but I wanted to incorporate some GoPto footage. It took some practice and your tutorial but I learned a lot. It takes quite a while to export the video. Thank you so much!

@@TheSunGoethDown I really think it all depends on what you have for a PC. My laptop is just good enough to edit 4k videos. I would love to upgrade to a better laptop, just for editing 4k videos faster. The best thing to keep in mind, for what you need for video editing is, if it's a good gaming system it should do fine for editing videos. Some day I'll have a better system... Lol

Thanks that was perfect I’m just getting started on this I do have a question when my video is playing on a full screen the footage seems to jump and on board small and big screen when watching the motion looks slightly faster than normal I have tried with the slowing down but 0.5 is too slow can you help with any ideas thank you 🙏

That's a weird one. I've not had that issue at all. Are you sure it's not the camera recording like that? As I mentioned, this program works every time for me and I haven't experienced what you are describing at all. I have used the feature to change the video speed once or twice though, to work with cheap action cameras footage. Sometimes just changing the video speed but about (.095) in either direction helped. Sometimes it only takes a very slight adjustment. I hope you can figure this out, it's nothing that I can give you an answer with an exact number though. Sorry about that.

It've had none of those issues with any of my GoPro cameras. This one is beyond me. I'm so sorry I couldn't help. Maybe it's something wrong with your GoPro. Mine takes very smooth video and edits very smoothly as well.

I don't know why that would be. Make sure it's not muted. Sometimes it's easy to accidentally mute the track.

I put 2 audios in a video. But after exporting the video, I open the video file. I can hear both audios at the same time. Can I choose which audio I want to listen to?

Yes, each audio source has the ability to either turn up or down the volume, or to mute completely. If you want to only mute a section of a video, so the music is all you hear, cut the video where you want the music to start and end and then mute that section of the video. That way all you will hear is the music. I thought that I showed that in the video but it's been a while since I made it so I can't remember.

I don't know. I only use my own music I create from recording my guitar playing or I use music from KZbin creator music library. That way i don't get de-monitised.

@@LissylooGlam I'm not sure what you mean. If you mean using transitions, that's why I go very sparingly on using transitions. I also only use a transition of the is a pause in the audio, like when I switch camera views. I hope this helps.

Yes you can. I'm not sure how many tracks you can have at once but even if you go past the amount allowed, the purchased program has unlimited tracks I think, you can always bring it back in and add it in a second edit. I do at least 3 edits. The first is to bring in all my cameras angles and audio. The 2nd edit is to get rid of what I don't want. And the 3rd edit is to add in B-roll and any other stuff, like text and audio over dubs.

In that video I was using my MXL 770 XLR style microphone, feeding into my Presonis Audiobox USB 96. I was also using a single into dual (split from single to double) XLR cable, to get a stereo signal. Then the signal from the Presonis went into my laptop via a USB cable. I highly recommend XLR over USB microphones these days. After switching to XLR I've noticed a marked improvement in audio quality over a standard USB mic (that plugs directly from Mic to PC) like my Blue Yeti. But if you can't afford to go this route, mics like the Blue Yeti will definitely get the job done. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching and for commenting, I do appreciate it.

@@nedynoodles5677 I don't upload directly to KZbin from the Program. I always export the video to my laptop first. After it's done building the video and exporting it to my laptop, I can them watch the video, to make sure it's how I want it, then I manually upload it to KZbin. I never use NCH to upload the video directly to KZbin for me.

Be VERY clear, the only thing "FREE" about this software is the download. They start off lying about the cost so right there its a "Non starter" for me. We all know nothing is free, but don't grant them permission to lie to you in the future by permitting it from the "git-go". I don't care how wonderful this is, I won't put up with a company that can't be trusted. Anyone who does is a fool.

I've not had the issues that you are referring to yet. Yes, they're free version isn't as good as the paid one but none of the programs out there are. Bottom line of this, it works for me. And I even even say in videos that the paid version of the way to go. I also say that they aren't perfect either. But bottom line is they work for my meds. Too bad you had such a bad time with them but thanks anyways fort the comment.

Yes, prices went up almost double since I made this video. I'm using DaVinci Resolve now. I still use NCH for most of my b-roll but not for the majority of the editing.
