I live about 95 miles from the Green Bank Observatory. It is one of the more that 50 structures named after the late Robert C Byrd. He is well liked in this neck of the woods.

Mindblowingly Cool!!! I really want to go there even if it's to just see the massive telescope dish for a few minutes! This was an excellent video and it amazingly inspired my grandkids, ages 6 and 8 and all they can do now is talk about science and the universe! Thanks to whom ever produced this.

So cool. Woah, love the drone shots of the telescope and animations.

The script is so beautiful. Just one tiny thing. Instead of using only lb to describe the weight of gbt, why not also use ton for scientists and international audiences? Thanks again for the great work!

Extraterrestrial life? That's already been found, I saw it for myself ca. 1964 ... "My Favorite Martian," though I don't recall any mention of Green Bank.
