Who else read this as "MIP* equals RE minus Henry Yuen"?

I got a year and a half left to go until I finish my comp science degree. Jesus christ, videos like this scare the hell out of me. I gotta finish right now before my field becomes way more advanced, so advanced that it becomes unobtainable.

I'm with you on that, the rate of progress in CS is frightening, especially in ML/AI

What about quantum spin phase time synchronization giving rise to apparent entanglement as an illusory side effect? A simple example would be the KZbin video showing action of a regularly flipping T-handle spun in microgravity on the ISS. If one could spin two T-handles simultaneously facing opposite directions and at the precise same rotational rate, they would apparently flip in unison as though "locked" in synchronicity, but are actually acting totally independently.

That sounds like a local hidden variable. Isn't that impossible?

@@j-trainchannel4626 Not if quantum spin phases are synchronized at the moment of close interaction and before separation. There is no hidden anything. There is just time/phase/spin synchronization. Then it wouldn't matter what the distances become afterwards. Also, if my senses are correct (which is unscientific I know) is that if given enough time passage, entanglement dissipates to the point of disentanglement via entropy. Though, I'm not certain what amount of time would have to elapse for that to happen. It could be as little as 100 days or 1 million years? That I don't know.

Merle Patterson That still seems to violate Bell’s theorem. I’ve verified myself that the CHSH inequalities are violated in real quantum systems, so no particles can have definite values before measurement without faster-than-light communication. So any valid interpretation of quantum phenomena must violate local realism, yet I don’t see how time correlated values violates local realism. I also don’t see how it accounts for entanglement in non-spin values.

It's unlikely that this result has much non-theoretical applications for games and other tech-related areas (unless you have a quantım computer). It's even less likely that they care about games in the first place.
