I bought the mirror and window module before taking delivery of my new MU-X after watching this video and now that the dealer has finally swapped my clearview next gen manual fold mirrors to power fold ones I've fitted the mirror and window module. Thanks for this and your other videos.

@@mickcoz1995 hey mate so u chucked on powerfold clearview mirrors with that trac system and they fold and open do they man cuz i’ve just bought a pair of the clearview powerfold and i don’t have the module and won’t open😅

@pingu003 I made sure mine were working manually from the switch on the door before fitting the Trac module because I wanted to make sure the dealer fitted them properly. Fitting the Trac module just added the automatic fold and open Mine is an LS-T but I'm not sure if all 3 models have power fold wired up.

Didn't know about this, so thanks. Going to get the upgraded module myself, with the auto windows and mirrors. Its a feature we use on our X5 on hot days, all windows down via fob to cool the car before we get in it, with the auto start for added cooling. So thanks for this, much appreciated. Its the simple things that often give so much value to using a vehicle. Cheap too... $150 for two features.

I installed the folding mirror module on my 2023 Xterrain today. Works great thanks. Great Vid. However when you walk away from the car the auto lock doesn't work as per previous to install. If you use the remote it works fine, ie mirrors retract on lock and deploy on unlock. Is this normal.

@@VideoShowMeHow you are costing me money mate 😅😅 the MY22 apparently cones with heated seats now, so the salemans tell me, expected delivery for our X Terrain in Volcanic Amber is September 😅. So far you have cost me the bonnet and tailgate struts haha. The auto folding mirror is on the cards too, stuff like this should be factory 🙄. Side not the mirrors work with the keyless entry and walk away lock feature? Silly question but just confirming.

Haha sorry about that bud 😁 Yep you'll have heated seats 👍 Yep with the module you just walk away and car locks mirrors fold in. Get the combo module or window module like the vids and you can walk away with the windows down too and they all close up. Pretty sweet

Hi Adam. I'm toying with the idea of installing a Safari Snorkel. The air intake is already in a better place than usual, but I'd still like to get it up higher.....particularly considering water can be FORCED into the air intake. I've only seen pics of an installation on the new D-max. Would love to see you the install.

28.2 inch STEDI bar bits perfectly on the bar TJM offers. Shit ton of light is thrown out. Make sure you get the fog lights with the bar horizontal spread extends easy another 20m on each side of the car.

Awesome video. Very detailed like the rest got a volcanic metallic xterrain on the way and these videos make it very exciting for the car to arrive. Would like to see in the future a levelling kit installed on the xterrain as most 4x4s obviously have a rake so they sit lower at the front for towing reasons. And also a behind rear seat subwoofer install.

Yeah have a fridge to suit, just filmed a mini review on it (out soon) but not going a slide as using the ute for ute things :) You can upgrade the rear two corner bolts to m8 eye bolts (did the same on the front corners) so you have two in the rear as well as two in the front.

great fit outs, and i love your videos, folding mirrors just add that little bit extra and you'd think paying 60k it would or even a tow bar, doing the tailgate assist this week and hope I can get the step tow bar next.. What I'd like to see is some sound upgrade, thinking of a slimline sub woofer, I'm 61but still like some deep sounding system.

ok here it is from the manual: - When the battery has been reconnected, perform the following initialisation settings in order to operate the driver's power window properly. Open the driver's window halfway. Pull up the driver's window switch to full close the driver's window and then keep the switch in this position for 2 seconds.

The module only needs to connect to the driver’s side as this is where all the main functionality is so no need for a second module on passenger side.
