Starting a gaming KZbin channel is hardest thing out there due to saturation. This niche is competitive but doesn't mean you should go for it. Playing one game will drain you, explore different one to expand your audience.

Guess what, I have 11 subscribers (not trying to get big now) and I uploaded a short that got over 900 views over night! I was surprised when I looked back at it the next day. Ok, I had 10 subscribers when I uploaded it, got 2 more, then lost 1. I mean, my title really did have a clickbaity title. I also can't use custom thumbnails since I don't have a phone yet. But other than that, I can say, youtube shorts might be my way to getting big.

Dmn i love this channel. I just recently hit 1k subs in august 22 and im already almost about to hit 2k! I changed the way I made tutorial videos, made a nice intro with cinematic. I put gameplay before the tutorials and gave the viewer an option to jump to the tutorial. always eager to learn more tricks and validate my intuition!

I started my journey in December of 2019! I was diagnosed with a condition called fibromyalgia, which caused me to be ejected from dental surgery school. I lost a lot of my abilities... and reached back to my love of video games while I grieved. I grew up on Zelda, Pokemon, and Starfox, and started making videos. Now, I've uploaded over 530 videos to my channel. I do fall prey to something mentioned in the video- I have a love of story rich games, and don't want to nail down to a single game. I want to create a space where someone can find mostly friendly content and company for when they need it. I hope that I can move towards becoming a KZbin partner.

I think a good piece of advise is to make videos because you think it is fun and entertaining for YOU. I don’t think anyone should go in to KZbin with the intention of wanting views and subs so they can make money off of monetization. I think it’s better to have content creators that are genuine and are being themselves as opposed to pandering to what’s popular. I think you have better chances of success when you go in being yourself instead of whatever is trending.
