An impressive concert by vidwan bharat sundar. Thanks to nada inbam to start the year on a grand note 🙏The vidwan with his unique style present all aspects of carnatic music in an appealing & delightful manner. Kudos 👍 Starting with arabhi (sAdinchanE) he followed up with todi (karunAnidi ilalO) a harmonious hamirkalyAni (parimala ranganAtham by dikshitar on divyadesam TiruindhaLur, near mAyavaram) kApinArayani (sarasa sAma) a captivating keeravANi(kaligiyuntE) behAg (irakkam varAmal) kapi (bAyarAni bAriki) & a tillAna in varALi. Wonderful ✨ The violin support by maestro RKS was excellent & the percussion support by vidwan arunprakash (mridangam) & guruprasad (ghatam) was blissful 👍

👏👌👍🙏 Class! Simply Superb! Bharat Sundar's Voice was @ its Best in this Concert and as he smartly kept his Sruthi @ the most ideal level to his voice it sounded so sweet. A sweet start of SAadinchane in the ever attractive AArabhi, succeeded by a Soothing Spell of Swara Rain in Thoadi for Shyama Sastri's KaruNAnidhe and the lovely sketch of AAmir KalyaaNi AAlaabanaa marked by beautiful brigaas and his Sparkling Kaapi NaaraayaNi essay of Sarasa Saama (reminding me the Great Madurai Mani Iyer style) will live long in my memory. To cap them all, came the Most Captivating KeeraVaNi preceding the Kriti Kaligiyunte. 👌👍 The Presence of Awesome accompanist Sri RKS on the Violin deters me from heaping any praise on his bowing brilliance as I feel it may look silly to do so and hence, I restrain myself. Mridangist Sri Arun Prakash's subdued play for AAmir Kalyani Kriti ParimaLa Ranga Nadham Bhaje and his Contrasting scores for the succeeding Kaapi NaarayaNi Kriti Sarasa Saama in particular and for Kaligiyunte during the Swaraprasthaaraam were Too Brilliant. Thanx a lot to the Organizers for sharing this Concert in the You Tube.

Outstanding concert.Along with Sunil Gargyan and Ramakrishna Murthy, Bharat has emerged as great young artists and will be performing for a long time to come.

Bharat Sundar is much senior and a more seasoned artist compared to the other two mentioned by you. Just an observation pls.

The violin support by Vidwan R.K.Shriramkumar was superb. WOW Dhani avathanam by Vidwan K.Arunprakash - Mridangam, & Vidwan Guruprasad - Ghatam is very nice.After Madurai Somu according to me Bharat really gives importance to percussion and violin. A nice RTP in Thodi or Kalyani raga will make the concert even better.

Despite being accompanied by such seasoned vidwans (RK Shriramkumar, K Arunprakash, and Guruprasad), Bharat Sundar's performance was subpar. Given that Carnatic music fans have listened to the best renditions of KaligiyuntE, it is natural for the audience to expect to hear another best rendition from you. But, you fell short. Your voice and training are great, and I have always enjoyed your concerts, but not this one. I am confident that your next live performance would be as great as many others in the past. All the best!

Bharat Sundar seemed distracted, losing focus in parts. Originality in the selection of phrases should already have been worked out in practice, before getting on stage with veteran accompanists. A little disappointed, but loved Todi.

Excellent singing. Great vidwath and manodharmam, but disappointing for me for not respecting great Tamil kruthis,especially, in Keeravani , instead of kaligiguntu you could have sung Devi neeye thunai of Sivan. Don’t feel ashamed of singing great composers inimitable Tamil keerthanais. Tamil means not Thukkada only. It is sad, disappointing Bharath. Thyagaiya will not get mad if you sing in Tamil.Totally disappointing Bharath.

Can understand yr feelings & sentiment Sir. But, I thought it would be Better to tone it down instead of being bit harsh.
@ramsundaram46152 жыл бұрын
@@vasudevancv8470 there is nothing harsh. Your perception is like that. I keep reiterating in all the concerts of these youngsters but nothing seems to reach them

Yes, each time i listen with the hope that someone will sing a main or submain in tamizh. May be it is incumbent on the organizers to request.
