Vidyakshetra: The New- Age Gurukul That India Needs

Welcome to this documentary exploring the transformative story of Vidyakshetra, an extraordinary Gurukula in the heart of Bangalore. 🌍
I visited this school in the beginning of 2024. The faculty and students here carried compassion and kindness and not even for a second did I feel like an outsider. I hold this experience very close to my heart. I hope through this documentary, I can pass on the essence of my experience.

What is different about the teaching here?

@@Krishnakumarkodungallurnot just electricity and mobile, 99% of things in our daily life are so called non-indian things… electricity, internet, computer, mobile, AC, refrigerators, houses, roads, automotive, aviation, railways, rockets/space, defence equipment such as guns, missiles, bombs etc, engines, inverters, batteries, surgery equipment, X-ray MRI scanners, software such as Google, KZbin etc and what not…all these invented outside India … if you remove non-indian things as on today, our lives are almost nothing…. Even the pant shirt you wear today are not indian dress culture… Most of the rest of the world going forward towards future in their thinking but certain groups in world including Indians day by day going backwards… instead of becoming rational, logical and factual, indians are becoming more hypocritical, more selfish, more towards beliefs, more emotional thinking rather than factual thinking, more irrational, more extremism, more radical….. by picking 10% of good things in our culture, we live in a dreamy world ignoring rest of 90% of drawbacks in our culture… while I agree with spirituality positive impacts in indian ancient culture, we conveniently ignore the facts our ancient culture was filled with division and discrimination in the name of varna, gender etc… someone is commenting here British destroyed our education system… lol 😂our ancient system was completely discriminative and allowed certain communities such as bhrahmins, Kshatriyas… and he is saying our ancient education system was best…lol …

This concept has always been my dream, and I'm excited to see it finally coming to life. The idea of transforming the education system in India back to a Gurukul-based approach is a fantastic initiative, and I wholeheartedly support it. The video is excellent, truly reflecting what India should prioritize. This message needs to reach Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji. I must say, the teachers here are far superior to those we had in ICSE, CBSE, and State boards. They are genuinely knowledgeable, and the students' English fluency is impressive. This shows that the teachers are genuinely passionate about education, rather than being driven by money. 😄

Jahan 5 sense organs ka sahi istamal ho, wahi sahi education hai , jaisa ki iss school me hai - singing, dancing, physical exercise by playing, farming by touching the earth and so many amazing things. Such initiatives must be take or supported by both state and centre governments but the dark side is many politicians are already running so called world schools or international schools based on old British models.
