Well, they are and Vidyut himself says so if you watch his videos on youtube and Instagram. He talks to all the international martial artists, stars, actors and they even give him advice on how to do it properly. Not that all of it is a copy, he adds the desi Indian version to it, and sometimes it is completely Indian too.

Freerunning is about how you can express yourself in a particular environment, while as mentioned Parkour is about A to B. Parkour was founded by David Belle who was also the actor in District B13 and the remake with Paul Walker. David got the skills from his dad Raymond who was war veteran and he improvised few military skills to escape when needed, that also kept him alive. Once David learnt it, he taught it to his cousins. Sebastian Foucan is one of his cousins who did the parkour chase in Casino Royale!

I think Vidyut himself is the bestest. And people like Jaby, always compare scenes with some Hollywood movies (Fast & Furious, Mission Impossible etc.) for no reason. The one should be better enough on those things before complimenting Vidyut. Because the actor knows how difficult it is to do those things.
