I'm an American, but I lived in Vienna growing up due to my parents' jobs. We moved there when I was 4 or 5 and I didn't come back until the middle of high school. And god, do I miss it. I really think Vienna is one of the most incredible places on the planet, and there's nowhere I've since lived over the past ten years in the US that could ever come close. If I had the chance to go back I would do it in a heartbeat. If I could be an Austrian I would give up my American citizenship in an instant. Such an incredible place. We all should be so lucky!!

I'm from Vienna also, and to me, it is the most beautiful city in the world. In my eyes, it also the most beautiful city. There is just something special - the history, timeless music, fragrant lilac bushes and regal chestnut trees with lovely blossoms, and such fascinating buildings. Even at the roof levels, there are statues and other interesting variants of constructions. Just don't get a stiff neck from looking upwards too long. +joe jarden i recently visitied Vienna, and believe me people there even if they don't know english will help you, i was not able to make a local understand bus stop, so he patiently waited 5 minutes while i made a stupid bus drawing in my phone and in an instant he showd me the direction.

I have loved Vienna ever since I spent a month there while a student in college. I learned to love music, particularly opera, and art. The Kunsthistorische Museum has fabulous paintings by Velazquez and Rubens, among other old masters. And then there are the Belvederes. It’s too good!!!

You may think, that the video just shows the absolute highlights and the best views, but the whole citycentre looks like that. Every building. And the Hofburg that was shown in the video ist sooo much bigger. In fact it's one of the worlds biggest builing complex. And last but not least: A building in Vienna that is 200 years old, is consideres as young there. The Stephans Cathedral is about 800(!) years old. Most of the palais are about 200-300 years old. Parts of the Hofburg about 600. Greetings from Vienna

Vienna was the center of European power for 500 years and attracted artists, musicians, philosophers, intellects, engineers and wealth. It has so much to offer in culture, style and history. It may be the World's top city. I think Munich could tie for that title. We saw the Vienna Philharmonic at the Schonbrunn Palace in 2016. What a venue. World Class!!!
