Naah, it's from Transilvania where germans "invented it" (yes, there were some ..) and it spread in slovakian-moravian border. The "traditional old bohemian" is a lie, it was used just to have something for turists.. Almost every country in mid or east europe does have some variant of that ..

At 2:25 you are showing a wrong church. There are two churches of St. Nicholas in Prague. The one you are telling them to visit is in Malá Strana but the one you are visually showing is in Old Town. Otherwise the video is beautiful! And beautifully voiceovered!

I lived in St.Petersburg (Russia) for long time and was sure it is the best European city, but when I visited Prague first time, I just fallen in love to that city! Now I always plan my travel trips to Europe and Israel in a such way that I can always to stay in Prague or change my fly in Prague and to have at least half a day to visit Prague again, and again, and again... six times already... ;-)))) Sometimes I spend just few hours in Prague, sometimes the entire day and night, but I always wish to return to Prague again. It is never be 'enough time' to stay and walk in that city. Every time I found something new, that I missed last time. ---------------- "From Russia with love". 8-)))

Why? Prague is a beautiful city, but its far away from being super clean, I'm Czech even though not originally from Prague, but I've been living there for almost 5 years now and trust me its not as you imagine, old town is beautiful, for me most beautiful city in Europe, especially at night, but there are better cities to live and better citizenship to have than Czech one.

Came back from Prague just few days ago. Beautiful city, very clean, well connected, there are only 3 lines of metro which makes it easy to travel around. Delicious food and very good light beer, prices are quite cheap for a capital actually ❤ amazing gothic cathedrals, so many old places to see. From Prague castle and Vysehrad amazing panorama of city. The only upsetting thing was that you can come across quite a few racists people as I've traveled with my partner who is black.

I was quite impressed, how many international tourists were travelling through Prague when I visited this city last week and was crossing the old town. I really didnt expect how international Czech Republic can be, but anyway Prague has something unique in it. I think it is due to the large history of CR beginning with the old noble family Premyslovci above the Astro-Hungarian Monarchy to the past couple of eyars of comunismus of the 20th century. But I have to say that Vienna has much more to offer than the czech capital and the people living there bring Vienna to an other level and so I like Vienna more than Prague.
