Very beautiful meditation from 24 Pieces in Free Style. Vierne's 6 part form is a nice model for improvisations and compositions even today. Thank you, dear Craig, for sharing!

Thank you, Vidas. Every once in a while, I get lost in Vierne's chromaticism, but this piece achieves a very fine balance.

@@jkjives1786 Usually I catch things before I publish, but this was one of those instances where the mistake sounded fine. It was only a week later when I was reviewing the piece that my brain went one way, and my hands went another - and that's where I realized, whoops! there's an actual key signature there. 😅

@@kupferdulzian16 Well, as you said, with all the chromaticism, I doubt if anyone noticed. I just wanted to make it very clear that I was joking. Both versions sounded beautiful. It was completely new to me and nice to hear something by Vierne that maybe, just maybe, is within reach (if I live long enough 😉).
