Great video as always. Hanoi domestic check-in for VN Airlines is by far my worst experience in Vietnam. Just absolute chaos and mayhem. Ho chi Minh airport is so good compared to Hanoi. We just flew PE to SGN from MEL and loved it and have our return in business this coming weekend.

Great video, Jayden! The airport looked like quite the zoo. I'm sure it was quite chaotic. Nice the lounge experience was good, other than the shower room. I agree the pizza onboard looked pretty sad, but more than you'd get on a flight in the US. 😊 That boat trip looked amazing,. Definitely something I should think about doing.

In Vietnam, (including SGN), you have to take everything electronic related out so that the system would be able to detect if they're were any dangerous substances. Also, VN-A888 A30-941 is currently grounded in July 4th of 2024.

I have an interesting story involving the VN A350. My family was on holiday in Hanoi in 2017. At the time, VN was running a temporary 787 service from Hanoi to Singapore, so I was looking forward to that flight. But during online check-in, aircraft had changed to an A330. I was gutted, but I’d never been on an A330 before and VN was about to retire theirs, so not a bad substitute. When we got to the gate, sure enough an A330 was sitting there, but it got pushed away not long after. 10 mins later, a VN A350 from Shanghai pulled in and turns out that was my ride. My first A350 flight, when I never expected! It was a really comfortable flight, the A350 is so quiet and smooth, makes me question all the A380 hype, I don’t hear as much hype around flying the A350. That was also the first VN A350 to arrive in Singapore and a lot of spotters came out. Next thing you know, my plane was on many Singapore spotters social media, so that was another fun element.

I don't know why airports in Vietnam always have closed check-in counters although there's no staff shortage at all. HAN looks way more crowded than the last time I had been there in summer 2022. I haven't flown internationally since COVID-19 started, but in the past, you'll get a hot meal if you take an international flight with VNA no matter how short your flight is. You'll get a full meal when flying between SGN and HAN when it's lunch time or dinner time, I think there's information about that on their website. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the experience with our national airlines and greeting from Ho Chi Minh City

Hi Jayden. Like you, i prefer the privacy of a separate shower room, not like the cubicle style you showed us at the lounge. Thats crazy that the airplane did not have any working cooling while waiting for passengers to board, i think its extremely dangerous in fact, especially ror any infants, pregnant women or the elderly. Amazing scenery on the tour you took , too
