Glad that you had enjoyed your experience with Vietnam Airlines! It was a pity that you did not managed to fly on the A350, however more or less, I am glad that the crew were very friendly and sociable during your flight. (The crew on my flight were a bit shy though😅) I am also impressed by the review as KZbin hardly have any Vietnam Airlines A330 review as detailed as yours 👍 All in all, excellent review and all the best for 2017! :)

Great video. I flew VN B767-300 from HAN to HCM in summer 2001. Merry Christmas! I am flying Thai Air Asia A320 to Don Muang tomorrow from SIN

Wow that was a long time ago when they still operated 767s. I believe your experience then and now will be quite a difference considering how far they have improved. It was a bummer as I was so looking forward to flying on either of the new aircrafts! Nevertheless, it was a good flight and at least I still managed to fly a wide body aircraft. Thank you for watching Nico!

nice video. You were unlucky to board on an old 330. IFE screen'd have been better if you had flown on a newer 330

I was initially booked on the A350 for this HAN-SGN sector but I got downgraded. And for my SGN-HAN sector I got downgraded from a B787 to an A321. It was a pity but at least I managed to fly on the A330 before it got phased out. I would definitely want to fly with Vietnam Airlines’ A350/B787 one day.

You were lucky to ride on the VN-A383 plane. I've never caught that plane cause it's the only plane of VNA which has unique business class seats. The plane was an old plane from Fly Kingfisher, which was defunct. Nice report anyway. The meal looks good.

You're kind of unlucky because you also flying in a older A330 as well. *EDIT:* If you want to know why the IFE touchscreen is not very sensitive, it's because it uses a resistive touchscreen, which needs some pressure.

Vietnam Airlines. Not very well known. I would not recommend flying it unless if there is no choice. Their Airline is maybe more for locals. Foreigners should fly major well known carriers or if for short journeys, Air Asia or Jetstar.

FlyCruise Singapore Okay, is the service, punctuality, seats, leg rest, IFE, and inflight meals good and have positive ratings by most travellers?

I have had the opportunity to fly on 2 routes with the A321 and A330. For service: On the A321, the crew just did what they were supposed to do with little interaction with the passengers. On the A330, the crew were much cheerful and interactive. For punctuality: On the A321, there wasn't any delays but on the A330 I had a small delay of 15 minutes. Seats and legrest: Both aircrafts were decent but nothing compared to the more established 5* airlines. IFE: The A321 has none which is a pity as these aircrafts are used on regional flights. The A330 has IFE and it's decent for a short to medium haul flight. The touchscreen feature wasn't very sensitive IMO. Inflight meals: On the A321, I was only served a sandwich for my breakfast which is abit of a disappointment. On the A330, the rice with pork option was great. These are my own opinions of the airline and at times there are some contrasts between the 2 of my flights.
