Hi aseem ,I booked a single PNR flight from Delhi to Phu quoc with vietjet air line , but it's a connecting flight first it will go Hanoi than phu quoc, and return also same it will from phq quoc to Hanoi than Hanoi to delhi, For Indian passport holder required visa for Phu quoc or not , please confirm

Phu Quoc is visa-free as per my knowledge. But it depends the kind of flight itinerary you have. I would say contact the airlines and clarify it - if it is not Vietjet. Usually, there should not be any problem and I had the same case. I was allowed to fly from Delhi. well, a lot of people face the same issue because they just have first name on the passport, so you can fill your last name in the application form.

What if we travel from india to Malaysia 1st and then malasiya to thailand.and afterwards thailand to vietnam with indian passport. Do we need vietnam e visa visa from date when we start our journey from india? it depends how many days you are going to spend in Vietnam, so if it is like 4-5 days then you may apply your visa before you start trip. The visa will remain valid. But if you travel for 30 days then better to keep in the future date while applying.

I would be arriving in Hanoi from India on January 21, 2024, via Vietjet Air VJ1926, scheduled to land at Noibai Terminal 2 at 07:15 AM. Subsequently, I have a connecting flight to Da Nang (Vietjet VJ507) from Hanoi Terminal 1 departing at 10:55 AM on the same day. My query : All having the same PNR. I also have the understanding that the immigration would be at Hanoi international and then we proceed to the domestic terminal. Do you know if the baggage's final destination would be Da Nang or it would be Hanoi . If Da Nang then a re- checking of luggages ! Wrote a mail to vietjet but no reply . Any thoughts would be helpful.

Hello there, Well in this case, you need to collect you baggage in Hanoi soon after you clear the immigration. Then proceed towards the domestic terminal. I had a similar case, and I put the date of arrival in the form instead of date of departure and I was able to fly. But, airlines are causing issues in some case so it is better to specify a back date as in March 14-15 instead of 16. Any how you visa will remain valid

Immigration is not an issue but airlines sometimes can cause issue. There is a very small thing when someone is traveling on the tourist visa only. Contact your airlines once and cross check with them. There should not be any problem in this case.

that is still fine if you put 2 days before you actually travel to Vietnam. You visa will still remain valid.

yes they have recently made changes to the format. When I applied my visa in May it was reflecting entry and exit points but now people say that entry and exit points are also missing. So definitely they have done the changes

Very Unfortunate that Airlines made this issue. This is absolutely airlines fault. Suppose If I travel from Kolkata 26th December to Vietnam, so flight timing is 22.00 P.M and will reach Hanoi 2.10 AM next day 27th December. So generally I'll put my dates on Visa 27th December. Because 27th December I'm arriving in Vietnam. Whoever denied boarding, Airlines staff, Need to take strict action against that person. This days Airlines only causing trouble for common people like us. Hiking Airfare, Canceling flight, some uneducated airline staff who don't know anything.

keep the print out of hotel voucher when you travel, Ideally your visa must be approved.
