I was there in the A Shau, 1969, with the 101st, B Battery/2/319 Arty, then as an attached artillery RTO, B Company, 2/506th Infantry. It was a ride folks! BTW, the music sucks, but I just shut it off, and enjoyed the film clip! Thanks!

I was 2/502 and I were always the ones poping smoke ("goofie grape"...etc) praying you guys could get in to kick out our "LRPS", ammo and clothing (shit rotted pretty quick)... Special thanks for that "medivac" cutting limps to get me out in the dark!

Amazing the amount of supply that was sent to Vietnam during the War. Staggering amount of material men and machinery. Money and men were no object. Thank you all for your service in a War that just confused the shit out of us all but we went anyway. Sad to me.

It was such a terribly sad time 😢🇺🇸, but our Fighting Men DID THEIR JOBS, even when their hands were tied by bureaucratic nonsense. God bless everyone who served.......I was planning to go as a field RN, but God’s plan was larger and better than mine.....The War Ended. So I chose becoming an ER/TRAUMA RN for the duration of my career. There were no guys and gals like THOSE guys and gals....ALL HEART AND SOUL. Praise God for people like them. May you open your hearts, minds and spiritual eyes to Jesus Christ TODAY - He is waiting for you with open arms. 🕊❤️🙏🙋‍♀️🌹🌹🌹💜✝️✡️🇺🇸

Hi, Joe. Can you tell me anything about 191st M.I. Team 3 1969-70 1st Calvary Airmobile( detachment ) specifically, my daddy Don Welch SP5-E5 from Colorado who was in country Sept.1969-70. I can’t ask him as he died, Agent Orange ( presumptive CAD ), Dec. 2017. He never talked about it, we were warned young, not to light candles, or watch war movies. He raised my brother & I when he retuned home & my mom had other plans..he was a great dad. He never knew he was entitled to benefits, only after passed did I file for DIC for my step-mom. Granted. Service related. I just wish I could talk to him..one more time. He will always be my hero. Thank you for serving, I hope you are well. I know the price so many have paid, so that we may have the freedoms here, I am really sad about that cost to all of you. Very sad, to look into this war. Appreciate you, all of you.

When I was there in 70-71, we weren't fighting the Viet Cong, we were fighting well-equipped North Vietnamese Regular Army (NVA).
