I was watching your dday impression from 6 years ago, really good. You look so young and yet you have better gear than most adults. Good shit

From my research: because the a1 had a full fenced mag release button, you can buy any standard type ar 15 under $500 then replace the upper,rear sight assembly,barrel assembly,slip ring, and furniture for about $1000 so you save about $300 but you will probably pay that 300 in shipping and ffl charge

Caleb Blasingame even if you did that the lower would still be wrong because modern lowers are not of the A1 varient and have the reenforcement around the buffer tube, the writing on the right side of the receiver, the wrong selector switch, the wrong shape around the front pin holes, the wrong mag release button itself, the wrong markings, and the wrong color. You'd be better off buying an A1 lower and building it because virtually nothing would be usable unless the lower was modified. Then again there aren't a lot of full fenced lowers on the market that are correct for an A1 because everything's out of stock. Only place I can think of is a black brownells one, but would need re parkarized.

Dominic F I knew about all those differences when looking at building one. But I completely forgot about the writing on the right side of the receiver and the reinforced buffertube

Caleb Blasingame yah they can be converted though, but I would recommend having a professional do it so you aren't picking steel shards out of your face when the gun explodes

If your looking for an AR-15 with the triangular forestock, I would recommend getting an AR -15 A1

Hey dude good shit, but the m69 “baseball” grenade wasn’t issued until 1969! But other wise looking good
@dominicf4757
@dominicf4757 6 жыл бұрын
Thanks, but it is the m67 grenade otherwise know as the m33 grenade meant to replace the m61 or M26A1 grenade. I believe there could've been an M69 one as well, but the baseball type was named the M67.

The A2 came out on the 80’s. The A1 was used in mid to late war. And I don’t know where you are getting your information on the flacks, but the Marines DID HAVE FLACK JACKETS IN NAM!!! You might want to check your sources.
