Mark Wiens those spicy sauces and condiments are wicked! Would love to see you do some videos on the ingredients - the food always looks fresh, but how are they grown, harvested and stored? Any fertilizers involved? The video you did on the coffee plantations brought back some memories of the village I grew up in, in the Caribbean. The fragrant scent of the coffee flowers in the early morning is unlike anything you'll ever smell.
@professorm41719 жыл бұрын
caribbeanpot A lot of the food is local, maybe beef comes from the States. Herbs are weeds and don't need fertilizing much only grains like rice & wheat & corn need fertilizers. I think Vietnam is second in the world in rice production after the States.
@duweydang9 жыл бұрын
Can't go wrong with that! Its an Asian staple!
@DailyBread20079 жыл бұрын
professorM Beef are not from the states, they don't have that kind of money for shipping meats. My parents are born in Laos and to tell you the truth they rais their own animals and eventually kill it as their source of protein. As far as their veggies, its as organic as it can be. They dont have the sources that we have here so veggies are grown with sunlight and rain. . Thats pretty much it. They do have electricity so they use their refrigerator to store their produce in.
@DailyBread20079 жыл бұрын
professorM And I believe Asia is the #1 rice producers. If youve seen videos they have rice fields all over Asia.

In my opinion vietnamese food is the best cuisine ever. So suttle, so fresh so well cooked. Think I was Vietnamese in Another lifetime :). I am vegetarian but when I am in Vietnam I crave the grilled meats. Vietnamese people knows barbecue as nobody else. Pho, bun and ban mie... I crave that. I live in Europe and good Vietnamese food is hard to get by here. I am so jealous!
