Leaving Aberdeen was like going into an abandoned rail marshalling yard.

Only music cuz they don’t want the drivers voices in the video for privacy

Aberdeen Station is lovely but clearly crying out for investment. That whole North end looks like it had loads of potential. And re double the track leading out it wouldn't be the worst idea. I'm aware how busy and important that line is. All the more reason. It should have the investment it deserves.

Could of done better with sound. Evan the rear cab sound is better than anything. Also I know Inverurie station well and I can tell you that driver stopped short of the stop car marker! He is meant to stop where that shelter is just up ahead!😂😂

I think Aberdeen Station is beautiful station when I've visited it. But I think it's crying out for massive over haul. The potential is there and a lot of the basic infrastructure is already there. With all the money the Central belt has seen in recent years. Stations up and down the Scotland. Have been neglected. The area of the station heading out towards Dyce is clearly could be put to better use. And the track between the station and Waterloo yard could be double track like it used to be.

You mean the Aberdeen station to Berryden section? There's not enough clearance in the tunnels for modern double track. Would require the tracks to be lowered which was prohibitively expensive. Kittybrewster to Waterloo yard was always single track.

Judging from the right of way and overpasses, it looks like the double track was restored.

Scotrail I agree with other viewers, for people who do not know this line it would have been helpful for sound and caption info on places of interest along the line. Maybe you can redo it by connecting a microphone, and enlighten your viewers who will no doubt come back in droves. Is it a work in progress on yor part as you did caption one staion being built

It was a lot more interesting in 1965, even with the horrible NB type 2 diesels

You need sound, titles, A rectiliear lens, a ULH type lens hood, and a clean screen

I think you'll find it wasn't the lens that was dirty it was the 158s window!
