This IS a great idea of a video series. Great to see you guys chatting it up with interesting ideas!

Made this with .5 oz of liquor 43 and used rittenhouse 100. Great fall cocktail, the baking spice notes in the liquor 43 with the spicyness of the rittenhouse make this ideal for a chilly fall evening.

Looks like a tasty drink. I love how you asked for "like and subscribe" part. Sounded like the obligatory part of the medication adds when they need to say all obligatory parts as fast as possible. Well at least it is like this in Europe. Take care and keep making us happy!

This has become my new favorite cocktail. I've made it five times. I back of on the Licor 43 to 1/2 oz, but damn. This is excellent.

Me too, that's why I prefer my Manhattan made with Bourbon, not Rye. But don't tell Leandro that, he will be so mad at me for doing that! :D

Tried it with a slightly higher proof Woodford Reserve Rye. I'd recommend to dial back the 43 to mby 0.5oz (was just a tad to sweet for my taste) and to add some bitters, I rly like some chocolate or ango bitters with it
@caseofbeeer4 жыл бұрын
I'd try it with Old Forester 100 proof Rye.
@jesseortega67754 жыл бұрын
Might be cool to give your variation of a viewer created cocktail. I’d a liked to see you use a bonded rye with less 43. Or maybe that OGD 114. If any bourbon could work in a Manhattan, that’s the one.

I make a similar cocktail. I’ve always wondered if it’s an old fashioned with sweet vermouth, or a Manhattan with simple syrup served on the rocks. 4 dashes ango, .25 oz. simple or maple, 1 oz. sweet vermouth, 2 oz. rye (I use rittenhouse or old overholt bonded) served in old fashioned glass with a single rock. I’ve always leaned toward calling it an old fashioned variation because of the syrup and the presentation. Any thoughts?
@jamesd76782 жыл бұрын
I would just say that it’s a Manhattan. Because the 1oz of sweet vermouth does much more to change the identity of the drink than the 0.25oz of simple syrup does. It’s just a sweetened Manhattan served on the rocks

@markbowerii7632 Жыл бұрын
Try this with rare breed instead if it needs more proof. It's not a rye but rare breed is a high rye bourbon so I'd imagine it'd work well.

Im not a bartender, i'm just an alcoholic but try this drink I made up! its great! "Elizabello the 2nd" 1 oz Gin 1 oz Gold tequila 1 oz cranberry juice 1 oz orange juice 3/4 oz fresh lime juice 1/2 oz tripple sec 1/2 oz simple syrup 1/4 Campari Shake and serve over ice Enjoy Elizabello the 2nd is a One Piece character who's best attack is called the "Kings Punch". I would have named it that but it sounds too presumptuous.
