Jerry is the cutest! Y’all make a darling couple❤️. Jenny …. I love the way you give Jerry equal opportunity to speak and share even if he doesn’t take you up on it. UNLESS you get him talking about something he’s passionate about haha. Then he’s on a roll!!!! LOL. Love you guys❤❤❤. One thought on the “you aren’t a grower” comment…. If you weren’t a grower then you would just buy the plants fully grown from a wholesaler and sit it on a table and resale it to the public. That would be more of a garden center but not a grower greenhouse. You guys are DEFINITELY growers😉

Poor Robert, I guess he has never heard of " strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel." I am truly amazed at the process of growing plants. Your channel is one of the first I begin watching, even though I am an older past farm girl, so much still to learn. Process never stops. I watch everything from sawmill, homesteading, gardening videos, that is my entertainment. I love seeing your children, and all the family working together to make your business a success. What you guys do is a wealth of knowledge, thank you for all you share to help us gardeners along. Thankful Jerry is okay.

QUESTION # 1 - I am so glad you started out with Robert's question/comment! Although I thought the question was put a little harsh (that is just me) I understand his question but he needs to step back and understand that a rooted cutting, or even a seedling, is not retail ready. There is a period of time that is make or break for that plant and that time is in your hands. I have a local grower (Vite Brothers in south-western Michigan) and I see what they go thru to present acres of Proven Winner (and other brands) plants to the public. It is a gamble on your part and that is mitigated by your knowledge. It is obvious to me that your knowledge of the industry is vast and I thoroughly enjoy watching you 'GROW' those plants on !!!

Jerry cracks me up. That guy was born one day, but it wasn't yesterday!! Such a smart whippersnapper.💚 gosh! I'd take him on my crew any day of any week. So glad Jerry is okay! Those falls against equipment, or hitting the ground because they are so high in the air can be a total tragedy. We've had a breaks, cracks, cuts, bruises, and the whole 9 working on the family farms. NO JOY IN INJURIES!! [2] As for Robert Nolastname, the reply to that comment is: the basic agriculture/horticulture ladder is : (1) Commercial Seed germination production, or Propagationist cutting production OF "STARTERS" ) ; (2) Commercial Growers / production [like Creekside] ; (3) Home or business gardeners,,, IN THAT ORDER for all those who do not do their own germination. A garden nursery isn't your local home depot or lowe's where they arrive already grown in the retail sizes. Growers get them to the retail size. Robert, you are trying to leave off the actual places who do, do the growing. [3] The teamwork at Creekside is off the charts fantastic. On our family farms [farm to table 🌱🍅🍓🥕🥒🫑🥬🧄🍐🍏🍎🫒🌽🥦growers ] we are always in pairs, or couples [2 or more]. We never go into the jobs as a single person. Someone is always in a pairing, minimum. It is safer and more work effective. [4] Can't wait to see the Signature Gardens. This will be a CLIMAX to the Creekside Ventures.

Ignorance is not dumb or stupid or in some cases rude. It simply means someone saying something without knowing. It is then important to educate by simple means to bring forward knowledge. Jerry and Jenny, you have shown us, your viewers, how much work goes in from start to finish. Allowing people to experience what happens not only from a business side but from a family working their business. I buy all my annuals from a family owned grower/retailer. I am never disappointed. It takes months of preparation and hard work. For us, here in my area, the season starts on Mother’s Day and ends by the end of June. For the grower/retailer it is probably all year round because once one growing season ends, the planning of next season begins almost immediately. I hope people who question what you do, see how much it takes for you to do what you do.

I have sat here fore about 20 minutes just fuming over the first question. Jerry you are right. They buy a plant from the store and put it in the ground. They did not grow it. I have learned so much from watching your videos. I lived in a zone 5 for over 40 years then moved to a zone 7A. I had no idea what really grew here. I have learned from watching you two that here the sun gets to hot for some some plants so they only need morning sun and not afternoon. Certain plants need all that sun. Crepe Myrtles can grow in zone 7A. Heck I ran out and bought 7 of them. Could not grow them in zone 5. I just want to say thank you for your videos. They have helped me out so much in my garden.

One Farmer's Market here is biased like that. "You are not growing you are just reselling." I asked, "So like these farmers are laying the eggs, or are the chickens, and they are just reselling." If someone gets dirt on their hands somewhere in the process, you are growing.

Some plants just do not come true from seed. Those plants need to be propagated differently say via cuttings or tissue culture. It is a simple as that. And, it is not simple to grow them - even at this stage. There is art to it - and a science. It is disappointing that some do not appreciate that

Jenny, as a knitter I did notice your hats. They were super cute. However, as a knitter I also noticed they are knitted not crochet. I didn't find the link in the show notes but went back and watched your video to catch the name and looked it up. Can't wait for my next visit to Creekside.

I can relate….as a retired nurse, I had no issues helping others but I hated once I became the patient. That isn’t my cup of tea. But unfortunately I am now on the reverse side of the table now. I’m glad you didn’t puncture a lung. That’s not fun! Glad you are ok ❤️

Wow, to go from a week's worth of work down to a day is so impressive. Sounds like that machine will pay for itself very quickly.

Thanks for the videos. I enjoy them because of the information you share and the fact that you are gardening in a similar climate like mine...zone 8b. So glad Jerry is ok. AND, you go Jerry. I love the fact that you are honest and share your knowledge with people who do not know what they are talking about....aka your not a grower On a different note. I order plants from Creekside a few years ago when you were shipping. Those were some of the best plants I have ever purchased and grown. Even after they went through the shipping. Just a great testament and validation of what a great job Jerry does in growing your product.
