I wouldn't rely on any dubious audio analysis done by non-experts on the internet. To me it sounds like there was probably one shooter. First 3 shots he fired slowly and methodically, then the next 5 he fired as fast as he could. He was in a rush because at that point the chaos already ensued. Also, like @amuse said, possibly changed position in relation to the rooftop peak.

I have to disagree with the 2 shooter theory. Everyone is basing it off of the sounds without acknowledging how many officers/agents possibly opened fire. There's no information on the bullets found. There's no information on how many rounds were left in the shooter's weapon. It's all just fun and games.

I’ve watched all the videos on the attempt on former president, but I cannot believe that there was a second shooter at this time because after the Secret Service eliminated the shooter, the gunshots stopped.
