Hot take: the two Clipping. album cover for Visions of Bodies Being Burned and Their Existed an Addiction To Blood, while I love both albums to death, have TRASH album covers which try too hard to be iconic. They wanted so bad for it to be like No Live Deep Web with something simple and iconic and failed miserably with something very boring.

I mostly disagree in that I think the album covers are pretty good and I don't see the No Love Deep Web comparison but I agree they're not super memorable or "iconic." That being said they're instantly recognizable and I think the shared motif helps push the idea that they're two sides of the same project.

Don't see the issue with down of the black hearts honestly. Is it fucked up? Absolutely. But Dead was too so he would've liked the cover. After all black metal is no place for pretty things except its certain styles.
