The cover for Unknown Pleasures was a last minute thing by Factory's (Joy Divisions record company) resident cover artist Peter Saville. He found a data plot of radio signals for a pulsar in some text book in a library then inverted the colours onto an embossed background. He hadn't even listened to the album before hand.

I liked the cover for Gas - Pop even without context when I first watched this video, but recently I've looked at Gas's discography of album art and I got to say, you get a better appreciation for it when you see the other Gas covers. They definitely all have a theme, same format, the colors differ though. They shine better as a collection than any of them as an individual cover.

Wildflower by The Avalanches's cover art is also amazing. The American flag but better in every way possible. Especially the colors they go together so well bro.

I agree that the you're dead cover is too busy but I disagree on the everything everywhere all at once poster take. It is busy but that's kinda the entire point, plus the colour palette is very easy on the eyes. It kinda has a kaleidoscope feel to it. IMO a very good movie poster.
