I have really enjoyed this ,and to me it seems to be a short video, Marie looks like she feels good and I thought she enjoyed doing this. I pray you both are on your way to recovery , in 1971 I was 34 and enjoyed my first grand child, who was a boy . After having 5 daughters, Erik became a very spoiled little boy. He comes here to see me in Florida from Cincinnati very often. It’s wonderful that your family lives close to you ,because when you get old family is very important. God put you two together because you were meant to be together. I believe there has never been a greater love than what you two have. I hope you will have questions and answers again soon. May the Lord continue to bless you both, I send my love, Sorry this is so long, I feel like we are family. I have been with you around 4 or 5 years, ever since I first heard your voices. ❤

Upon reflection! My favorite part of the video was learning about Marie's career as a Professional Wife and Mother! For some reason I've always had it in my mind that she had a teaching profession or had a daycare/nursery. Good evening Calvin and Marie. This was fun. Not too long stayed wirh it from start to finish. I agree when you retire being debt free is the best way to go. Cars are bought cash . It's was really bad for a garden last year here in New Mexico so we did buckets and had some good luck. Canned and dehydrated everything. This year just planted sunflowers to replenish the soil.

Hi, my southern friends. I loved getting to know both of you better. Thank you for taking the time to do a question and answer video. Even though I wasn't a person who asked a question, I thought there were really good questions. I have mentioned before that my husband and I were married almost as long as you and Marie. (One year less)it seems like our values are very similar to yours. Maybe it was our generation. We also bought a home very similar to yours on a 30 year conventional loan and paid it back in 15 years. We owned our own business all our married life and work so hard. We won't buy anything including vehicles that we can pay cash for. We save our money and don't have any credit card debts. Like you, I'm so glad we were disciplined in our finances when we were younger. My husband still calls me his bride, and he's my sweetheart. I just know if we lived closer we all would be good friends. Take care my friends.

WOW that was great! Since I'm a newbee I had a lot of questions rolling around in my head so I feel like I really fit in now. I think I told you that my middle name is Marie. Well, with my middle being Marie and your sister being Joan that is Joan Marie (see how that work!). Now if we could find another family member with the name Jean we would have my entire maiden name.....Joan Marie Jean. We had a large family too, 4 boys and 4 girls. You two are such a great example of what makes a marriage work.............love, understanding, friendship, hard work and the old thing called budget (not running out and buying everything on credit just because you want it NOW. I have found many times that if we wait we sometimes change our mind, maybe even several times kinda' (like a cooling off period if you will). Thanks again for such a neat post. Joan in Fl

You remind me of my Aunt & uncle that met when they were playmates at 5 years old They lived across the street from each other, went to school together. They have been married over 50 years.
