My bucket list is to visit the Arctic Circle (been there twice already but in Summer) in the dead of Winter and watch them from there or maybe Chena Hot Springs while relaxing in an outside natural sauna.

For the 3rd time (message keeps disappearing). Is the Geophysical Institute open to the public? Just wondering so I can possibly visit it whenever I return to Fairbanks. Saw it on my train ride to Anchorage in 2019. I use their app to check on Aurora status.
