Any opinions on top dollar I should be paying for CGC Grade 10 alpha commons. I know every cards is different, but just trying to understand a general avg range for 10’s and even pristine 10’s when it comes to the commons.

Hard to say. For a general rule. But if you can find a CGC Grade 10 Alpha common that is within a 10% premium on non graded near mint versions I’d say you are likely getting a good deal.

i love to play magic as well. but vintage to me is boring. all the action happens in modern and pioneer. but the majority of my collection could be considered "historic". i think historic will become the new "pioneer" in due time.
