Do you two have jobs? Yes! We both have full time careers. Brian is a Software Engineer and Kerry is a Graphic Designer.
Is this vlog a paid promotion with the cruise line? No, we have never worked with a cruise line before (I doubt they even know who we are 😂). If that ever changes, we will be sure to let you know in the video.
What are those black pouches around your neck? We use the lanyards to carry some camera equipment, but many cruisers like to wear lanyards to hold their room key card.
What camera do you use? We typically use the DJI Pocket II, however, when we are in the water we use the Go Pro Hero 9, and in Alaska we occasionally used the Nikon P1000 for wildlife shots. What is a GUSS? GUSS is our name for a Towel Animal! It is a childhood memory for Brian that has lived on for years. You can see the home video moment where GUSS was born in Adventure of the Seas Day 6 (We Made the News) and Allure of the Seas Day 3 (Sea Day).
Is that one thing you said serious? Almost certainly not. If you’re new to the channel, we have really dry, sarcastic senses of humor. So if you’re questioning if it’s sarcasm - it probably is.

Is it really pronounced CoCo “Key”? Royal Caribbean has said itself that it is pronounced “Key” in a FAQ of their own here: creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal.... To each their own on this pronunciation!

It reminds me of when Animal Kingdom opened. The trees and vegetation were just planted and not full yet. Kind of sparse with not much shade. It will be even more beautiful as the years go by. I wonder if it will always be one ship at a time.

Awesome video! I'm surprised that the pier is basically a grey, concrete walkway for 1/2 mile without any sort of theming, color or shade, especially since this is the first thing you see when you get off the ship. They made Lookout Cay itself look great and well-themed, so it seems jarring in comparison Btw, kudos to whoever made the graphic/map of the private islands at 0:37, it looks awesome

I think the island will be really nice in a couple of years when all of the planted things grow in. Now, it looks barren and almost like a desert. The walk will be too much with no cover but even that I could deal with but the flies…nope. That was more than the usual it seemed. No way would I be eating anything there.

I thought the pier would look more exciting like Perfect Day at Coco Cay. Overall there doesn’t seem like much to do unlike perfect day, but perhaps the Disney goal was for education and relaxation. Very different distinctions between the two brands.

Just means you have to go back again when it's done! We went to CocoCay before it became Perfect Day! Haven't gone back yet but we will in February, kinda sad Royal just came in and took over everything and got rid of that cultural aspect. Might have to hop on Disney to do this when it's done!

Odd that there’s no effort to provide any shade on the walkway to the ship/island. I feel like Disney could do a better job creating shade from the sun across their properties-it gets so hot especially with the sun reflecting off the hard surfaces.

Enjoyed the video! FYI-Walking straight into the surf with your flippers on is a recipe for disaster. lol. I found that walking backwards into the surf or even better putting the flippers on once you are past the surf break works best. Love the video!

Lookout seems like a very nice beach experience but, not a particularly Disney beach experience. For how big it is, I expect that multiple ships will dock at the same time.

The beach area looks very nice and the shops and other facilities look good. HOWEVER, not having trams to take you from the ship to the island is a VERY POOR decision, especially for those who have mobility issues. Not very accessible for those who are mobility impaired. Disappointing.
