Do you two have jobs? Yes! We both have full time careers. Brian is a Software Engineer and Kerry is a Graphic Designer.
Is this vlog a paid promotion with the cruise line? No, we have never worked with a cruise line before (I doubt they even know who we are 😂). If that ever changes, we will be sure to let you know in the video.
What are those black pouches around your neck? We use the lanyards to carry some camera equipment, but many cruisers like to wear lanyards to hold their room key card.
What camera do you use? We typically use the DJI Pocket II, however, when we are in the water we use the Go Pro Hero 9, and in Alaska we occasionally used the Nikon P1000 for wildlife shots. What is a GUSS? GUSS is our name for a Towel Animal! It is a childhood memory for Brian that has lived on for years. You can see the home video moment where GUSS was born in Adventure of the Seas Day 6 (We Made the News) and Allure of the Seas Day 3 (Sea Day).
Is that one thing you said serious? Almost certainly not. If you’re new to the channel, we have really dry, sarcastic senses of humor. So if you’re questioning if it’s sarcasm - it probably is.
How do I ask a dinner time question? Leave a comment on any video and let us know it’s supposed to be answered at dinner time. We’re always looking for new questions (even if the next cruise we can answer it on is a long long way out).
Is it really pronounced CoCo “Key”? Royal Caribbean has said itself that it is pronounced “Key” in a FAQ of their own here: creative.rccl..... To each their own on this pronunciation!
When and how did you meet? We met in February of 2020 via a dating app. We answer this question in more detail in our Independence of the Seas Day 2 (Swimming with Pigs) video.

I agree with you on Cloud 17. It should be an adult section along with Hideaway. There is literally zero shade in the hideaway. That’s my main complaint with that area but I do love the club feel. It was also packed the whole cruise so they could use the extra space in Cloud 17 for adults too

I've sailed on an infinite balcony on Celebrity and you are right, there are pocket doors between the balcony and the room. If the doors are closed, your AC stays on. It turns off when you have the doors open. We had that room on a cruise in Norway and liked it there, but I think in humid Caribbean weather it would be way less desirable, as you noted!

I disagree hard on the infinite veranda. The floor to ceiling view and natural light add significantly to the overall experience as does the ocean sound. Also why can’t you just crack the blinds or close the curtains to adjust for the amount if light you want?

For future, if you pull the tie part of the balloon away from it, it creates a little bit of friction and if you just take your teeth and just make a small incision, it won’t pop, and it will slowly deflate in your hand if you continue to pinch the part you tied
