Views from Hvar Fortress - WOW! | HVAR CROATIA TRAVEL VLOG

We had an amazing time in Hvar despite almost drowning in the rain on the walk from the ferry to our airbnb.
We hiked Hvar fortress, explored the old town, and had an INCREDIBLE meal at Lola Street food.

That stairwell in the rain reminds me of my hike up Mount Katahdin in Maine. The whole trail seemed to be a river. Wow!

Food and sweets in Croatia do not have a large percentage of artificial flavors, so everything tastes strange, for Americans. Because in America they use a lot of artificial and enhanced flavors and colors..and large amounts of sugar especially in cakes and soda drinks..I know well because I lived in California.

You're right, we could have some biases there. In general we seem to expect packaged processed items like chips (especially flavored chips) to have a pretty punchy taste. Thanks for sharing and thanks for watching!

Yes, we have been! Probably not enough.... :) But for sure, when we happen across a grocery store where we can film, we'll show you around. Most have been freaked out by the camera and asked us not to.
