It’s super cool 60’s era design and fashion and music; and an all time classic film to boot. My friends parents had a home with one, Moroccan style pillows and rugs all over to lounge on and listen to music on the reel to reel player through Dennon D7 studio speakers . It’s was rad 😎 They also had avocado colored appliances which was a big thing, no lie.

I'll give you cats another perspective for the recipe, the consistency of the 70s and 80s soft rock or yacht rock as it became to be known later. Most of these cats in these bands were children of the 50s and 60s and they were in awe of and transfixed by the music of Black American R&B, Soul and Motown artists. What emerged was the sound of AM Radio and the moniker given to all of these bands like Player, Hall &Oats and the like was Blue Eyed Soul! A bunch of white boys, some from the states and some from across the pond that were trying their hardest to be the cats they grew up listening to and either by choice or subconsciously they studied that music and that's what came out when these cats performed.

I love that you admitted how much you loved the song even though it was soft rock. You're too cute. I'm a fan now. Ty and Ryan, I love that you both are putting it on your play list.
