Top 3 "Chug" Riffs of all time. This album is the link between Thrash Metal and Death Metal. Beneath The Remains is an all timer. Not one bad song on this album. CHUG. Fun Reaction. Try Territory from their Chaos AD album.

Have you ever met any of these "types" of guys in high school. This goes back to the 70s for me, but those guys who were into LZ or Black Sabbath, and musicians, well, they were just a different breed. They hated school, couldn't wait to get out and usually did as soon as it was possible. It's the same with car guys, especially the genius types, like it's in their nature to pull something apart and put it back together again. Quite a band. Some real heady shit going on there. Thanks guys.

Yes. I'm one of them. For the majority of my young adult life I made my living by being a musician and guitar teacher. I fast tracked high school meaning I didn't take any spares and graduated a year early. I wanted to get the hell out of there asap without dropping out. The best was my final semester as I only needed 1 credit so went to night school one day a week for that final credit and had the rest of the week off. Figured I deserved it lol. Never failed a class in my life either including college (I went back to college in my late 30s).

kzbin.info/www/bejne/fXfcn6yOgdaZjNEsi=UgLW385aGL80Lv-5 Up front, I want to acknowledge that I have not watched every video that the guys have done on the channel. So, there could be songs that I missed that would qualify regarding this post. In the reaction for Sepultura's "Dead Embryonic Cells," Nick mentions that he thought that Sepultura's "Arise" might be the fastest performed song on the channel. That could well be the case, but it seems like it could be a "photo finish" between "Arise" and Slaughter to Prevail's "Demolisher." In considering both songs, I started thinking about how any pro boxers, MMA fighters, or other combat sports athletes were missing a huge opportunity to gain a possible psychological edge over their opponents by not playing either of these groups as entrance music. Sure enough, Alex "Poatan" Pereira (the current UFC Light Heavyweight champ and #4 in the men's pound for pound rankings) actually has used "Itsari" by Supultura as his entrance theme in the past. The above link is to that song. Unfortunately, I could not find where Slaughter to Prevail has been or is currently being used as an entrance theme, but I encourage anyone with more knowledge about this group to respond if they know more. I just know that if I somehow mistakenly ended up in a pro boxing or MMA match and my opponent came out to either of these bands, regardless of the guy's physique and how he may not look tough, I'm still probably going and staying down on the first punch or tapping out after the first light leg kick to my shin. 😂

Sepultura doesn't belongs there because they 're too heavy. Bestial Devastation and Morbid Visions are first wave death and black metal. Schizophrenia still retain this in more technical and thrashy. Beneath is more technical thrashy with hardcore and lets be honest the death metal edge necer left them. Arise have that crossover but again the more tribal and groove and death metal vibe is more there. When you see footages of the compulation of the tour 1991, You have Sacred Reich, a real thrash band, but when Sepultura hit the stage with the sound, the fatness groove and Max doing " Oooohhh ". This is not thrash , you feel they are from a death metal field..😊

You guys have great reactions, insights and personalities. I am so excited when I see a new you tube posting from you!! I have to say, though, that I have only watched one of the past 6 or 7 because you're choosing things I have never heard of. Not sure if your other followers are the same or not, but I watch based on whether or not I know and like the song. If it is one that I really enjoy, then I am happy to see you appreciate it, also. Just my two cents, but I think keeping a bit more mainstream gets you a larger audience. Love from Virginia, about three hours from Ty!!

I subscribed to Views From The 502 bc they reacted to a lot of A7X (I’m a fan). I’ve stayed bc I enjoy Ryan, Nick and Ty. Do I like every song they react to? No. And when a particular video _isn’t_ my musical lane, I move on. I don’t post that I don’t care for it; I just wait for the next upload, hoping it’s a tune that I’m interested in. Now you posted that you “only watched one of past 6 or 7 because you’re choosing things I never heard of”. That said, of _JASPER ISLEY JASPER, MAX WEBSTER, THE GAP BAND, URIAH HEEP, RALPH TRESVANT, SADE and THE DAVE BRUBECK QUARTET_ which one did you watch? Just curious. Thanks. I _sincerely_ appreciate your respectful tone but, in my humble opinion, suggesting that Ryan and Nick keep it “a bit more mainstream” handcuffs the guys, not allowing them to pivot. I realize that from the outset VFT502 has been a rock-centered channel but as a music nerd who’s always been fond of multiple genres, I applaud them switching things up. On a personal note, like Ryan, I love R&B as well so seeing these _occasional_ forays into black music, I completely welcome it (and roll my neck in approval). ✌🏽

@@gabrielmcdonnell8699 and I appreciate your respectful response!! I will correct you, though. I didn't say that I didn't listen because I didn't like the song, but because I had never heard of the song. If I wanted to hear new-to-me music, I'd listen to the radio. I watch reactions because I enjoy seeing how other folks feel about songs that had/have meaning to me personally. BUT, that being said, you're right. I need to keep my opinions to myself on social media. They say they're like buttholes and everyone has one.....I reckon I think mine needs sharing more than it actually does. Admittedly, I don't know what A7X is, and of the videos you mentioned I am familiar with the gap band, uriah heep and sade. Peace back atcha!

@@bluelionvintage8134 I don’t know how many music reaction channels you subscribe to but I found VFT502 in the very fashion you mentioned ie I searched for reactions to my favorite songs/bands. Did just that for A7X aka Avenged Sevenfold and discovered these guys based in Kentucky, Ryan, Nick and Ty. If you’re not doing that, I encourage you to do so bc sometimes even a tune you like that you may consider obscure has been reacted to. Lastly, one of the primary reasons I responded to your posts-and I share this with the _UTMOST_ respect-is that SOMETIMES subscribers get a little territorial with the reaction channels and start coming across like an armchair quarterback. Seen it too many times in these KZbin streets! As someone who subscribes to a multitude of music reaction channels, it didn’t take long to realize that producing these videos are a GRIND... _AND_ they don’t get paid much for all this work. What really has me LOL, in general, are subscribers/viewers who think that music reaction channels are some professional operation ie that Ryan and Nick have writers, producers, researchers, videographers, editors, etc supporting them. At least they do some editing here. On other channels, the reactors have left in them burping, answering a text and my recent favorite, the host killing a cockroach in the middle of a reaction. 😂 Anywho, enjoy the channel! ✌🏽
