Nice reaction. I bought this new in ‘92 and it blew me away instantly. Deans super heavy tone, Robert’s pounding basslines, Eric’s bludgeoning drums and Scotts sublime vocals! For me they really just blew away most of the grunge era bands. You ought to check out there Letterman performance from 93. (Wicked Garden) It’s hilarious when Dave introduces them he says “brace yourselves” Maybe check out Still Remains from their Purple album

I remember my brother bringing me this cassette back when he returned from his holiday in Canada! i fell in love with it straight away! a classic lp. Saw them live once too at Download Festival and with original vocalist Scott Weiland! R.I.P.

I got this album when it came out and it changed my life. Imagine a teen girl in Ireland, surrounded by pop and traditional music, hearing THIS and realising I finally found music that spoke to ME. I really didn't fit in lol I found STP, AIC, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden et al and I never looked back 🤘 R.I.P Scott, Chris, Layne, Kurt, Chester 😪 your like will never been seen again

I saw Scott Weiland in 2013 and he was good, he did most of Core & Purple. Saw him like 5 months later and we walked out and so did a lot of others, he was really off. Then 2 weeks later at the same venue, I saw STP with Chester Bennington on vocals and Chester killed it. They were great. Jeff Gutt did a great job live when I saw him with STP.

Alright !!! Couldn’t believe when I seen a reaction to a song off Core that wasn’t Plush or Sex type thing (don’t get me wrong these are awesome songs too). The sound of the guitar that Dean uses is called "sonic sound". This is my favorite album of all time. Every song on this album and the next album are fantastic. New lead singer Jeff is great in concrt too...very much like Scott.
