Fear factory is literally the fathers of industrial metal . Just saying

Godflesh and Ministry are the fathers of industrial metal, but Fear Factory added death metal elements to the genre
@ipsuey11 ай бұрын
@@cobgod1415 Indeed but fear factory is right up there with them in terms of defining the genre.

People used to always think they were using a drum machine... I thought so too... then I saw them live and realized the drummer is a machine.
@Neal_YouTube3 жыл бұрын
First time I heard them, having come from a background of thrash metal and just hearing fast double bass, when I heard FF and Raymond doing the patterns on the bass, I too assumed it was a drum machine. When I found out it wasn't it was a total mind fuck.
@PJBonoVox3 жыл бұрын
@Jeffrey Grindle You realise this ain't Gene Hoglan, right?
@zacharyashmore18302 жыл бұрын
So technically they do use a drum machine, just not the kind they were expecting.
@GordonHeaney2 жыл бұрын
Sadly, they have used a drum machine on at least one album, if not two. But Harerra and Hoglan were beasts.
@imaluthier218 Жыл бұрын
Raymond Herrera pioneered this type of industrio-mechanical drumming, and is STILL the best at it! I’ve seen FF on their first two albums’ tours and they are just as tight live! Plus Burton C Bell is from my hometown of Houston TX👍

Watch Terminator 1 & 2. Both seriously great movies. Arnold is so perfect for that role. Fear Factory music is like being inside the brain of a Terminator, basically.

I saw them at both Ozzfest AND Gigantour. I was 16 when I saw them at Ozzfest '99. They were one of the main bands I was there to see and boy did they deliver. They always do. They definitely play this song every time. Psyched for the new album. Sucks that Burton isn't gonna be with them anymore. Huge fan; hard to imagine Fear Factory without him.

Kind of coincidental that you are wearing a Faith no more shirt. FNM's bass player Billy started a band called Brujeria which the guitar player and the drummer of Fear factory were also in.

I like the honest reactions. Some ppl just dig the aggressive sound and it shows legitimately. Also I understand some don’t like that sound and appreciate being honest as too many reactors seem to pander. Some never dislike any songs. You can appreciate a song or aspects without liking it as a whole.

6:15 things that are not needed shouldn't be seen that way. Music must be free to be whatever. It's a piece of art. Without freedom of creativity you're restricting possibilities and disagreeing with the art maker

Oh this gonna be fun lol. If you guys are running back Replica, then you're gonna have a blast with pretty much every song on their album Obsolete. Way harder & heavy & clean vocals jacked up way better than this song. Seriously. Great video.
@Shagrath712 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't have started with Replica. It's kind of a change up from the pounding speed and power of the first three songs on the album.

Just found this reaction channel. Fear Factory is probably still one of my favorite metal bands. The best album by them is one you have to find on you-tube because of some legal issue with the label company. "Archetype". It's 10/10 I can listen to it over.. and over.. and over. Shame no one talks about it as a classic OG album,.
