@@DucatiDale I agree that the pricing is steep. There's a company that sells 304 Stainless Exhaust Parts in the Uk and it looks like you could buy all the components for £300 or less, retail. It's not a one piece custom bent, appears to be standard parts welded together. Looks are a personal thing, but I prefer the look of the original exhaust, I don't like these cut down exhausts.
@mancavemoto Жыл бұрын
It’s a low volume production made by hand in the UK. I think the price reflects that. The end can isn’t and off the shelf item so you couldn’t buy the components for £300. As with any product you have to factor in production costs, development and some kind of margin. Appearing to be and the reality are different things

Great looking, simple change over but hell of a loud. The rozzas might not be too keen on those nor the neighbours! I’d have a smile on my face though. Definitely a fan of the exhaust, sounds just about right. You can hear the engine noise but it's not just absolutely deafening and looks significantly better. Bikes like this need this style of pipe. My only problem would be the price. I do appreciate the fact it's a British business, but the Trident exhaust I was looking at for my Triumph Sprint ST 1050 was half the money from a British company with about triple the welding and materials needed. But, hey, that's just the cheapskate in me talking

Yep, and I was of course being heavy handed with it. At the end when I’m riding them rough the village you can hear it’s not obnoxious. It’s not badly priced compared to some of the competition, but being entirely made by hand in the UK does affect the pricing obviously.

RBB WORLD (on YT) opened both ends of a stock exhaust.. it sounded unbelievably good. Your exhaust sounds not unlike a Bertoni motors (YT channel) where he simply removed the mufflers and ran the headers. Loud but not much louder than your shortys. Enjoying this series, and the pipes are a great addition. I think RE missed a trick by not having an Interceptor with a scrambler/FT vibe. Cooperb do a Desert Sled upgrade, and BSA had a scrambler build of their new Gold Star on their stand… so there’s an appeal to this style of bike. The manufacturers need to start appealing to a younger generation of riders. You’ll get a few grumbles from older riders tho 😂

On a longer ride you can guarantee a headache.

They are...fruity aren't they?

Yep, it sounds a bit louder on the video, but it’ll be interesting to see what the baffles will do to it

Sorry it looks and sounds terrible

No need to apologise, it’s not for you and that’s OK

Sorry, but in my opinion - far to expensive, far to noisy, and looks horrible !

I don't understand why you're recommending pipes that will be illegal in the next few months and are, in any case, anti-social and annoying. Strange vid.

An equally strange comment to make, each to his own and all that Clive. I watch plenty of videos where I might not like the content, but I just think that’s not for me and move on. It’s not even that loud

I agree, it is antisocial and the looks and sound just doesn’t suit the bike. The comment was a valid one.

Why will they be illegal in the next few months?

Keep your hands on the bars, it's not clever and it looks stupid! Please
@mancavemoto2 жыл бұрын
That’s an odd comment to make on this video. I tend to talk a lot with my hands, not trying to be clever and it hardly looks stupid. If you’re not comfortable taking your hands off the bars, that’s fine but that doesn’t mean you can project that onto others.

@@stevepalmer5670 no Steve, I own 5 motorcycles, used to race a RD350 back in the late 70s, it just looks stupid, I suppose your subscribed to that bald headed flying knob?....geek 😉

I'd simply just remove the end cans and fit shortie finnisher cans instead.. total cost £60

Not quite that simple, but thanks for the suggestion
