Holy crap about a month or two ago I bought a little dollar watermelon growing kit from Target. Not thinking much about it I took it home and followed the directions. About two weeks went by and I started to see a little green stem growing through the dirt. This is my first time growing anything from seed. As I witnessed it growing each day I knew I needed to find a spot in the yard to plant. This gave me inspiration to grow a full Garden. I am now in process of growing corn, beans, cucumbers, squash, tomatoes, a young blueberry bush(the blueberry bush was a mothers day gift from my daughter and her father) Aaaannnnnnddd *The seed kit I purchased are sugar baby watermelons* I didn't do it alone though, I have to give major credit to my daughter's father. He helped with the tilling, planting and he water's it everyday. When we were tilling the dirt, I got jealous of him because he got to till more than me. I wanted to get my hands dirty. I am happy to say we did complete the garden work while getting in to only a few fights. Lol

Joy Richard - Yes, I agree with you! There is some science and of course a lot of nature involved when choosing a good watermelon. Most ppl tend to avoid the watermelons with those brown crusty marks but in actuality the more of those ugly marks you find, the sweeter the fruit. Those marks are from bee pollination and it’s exactly what we should be looking for when choosing a ripe/sweet watermelon... so you are correct, the uglier the better! 👍🏼 😊 🍉🐝

The pulp is the most healthy part of any fruits just to let everyone know. It does taste good both ways. I make a lot of Watermelon 🍉🥤 it is big in Greece and Italy where my family are from. We make it the exact same way, but we add sugar, salt, Greek cinnamon sticks, lemon or lime and a squeeze of orange.. with mint as an accent, because we Greeks use Mint religiously 😊 My husband is Mexican and they do it in Mexico😊 Our children eat any kind of raw fruits. And they like it juiced. But yes, the celery is a bit tart on its own, so I usually will add carrot and fruits with it. Yummy! Love this video! “Do not give your taco away” 🤣🙏🏼 Love from Illinois! Oh, we also put watermelon slices in our salad with the feta. It’s delicious! You should try it.

@Alina McPherson hahaha it is true actually. Fiber of the food is slower to process. But it is the healthier way to eat fruits than just drinking the juice. When eating a whole fruit it takes longer to process and there is a slow release of sugars. If drinking straight juice there is no fiber to get through and it will process faster and deliver the sugar faster...

Now that is how I make my watermelon juice. I do not add water to it as it already has a lot of water in it. I blend it with ginger lemon and a little pineapple to give it a kick then serve it in a glass with a couple of mint leaves. Yummy!!

I make this with stevia, to cut down on the calories of sugar! Also when I cut up a watermelon I sprinkle stevia on it! It dissolves right in to it! Always enjoy your videos! I made a watermelon agua fresca before, with some frozen from fresh watermelon chunks I had on hand. I added a little lime juice and agave syrup. It was delicious! I also love mint and need to try it added to it next time! Watermelon is supposed to be good for riding your body of cellulite.

Hi there love your aguas frescas! I going to be making some for my sons birthday so thank you so much for sharing. Here is one simple tip from my kitchen to your. It is adding simple syrup, which is really easy to make and works soooo much better than sugar. Sugar just tends to sit at the bottom of the pitcher which means you have to stir almost before every serving. Simple syrup is made with equal parts sugar and water and bringing them to a boil. I wait for it to cool then I put in a glass jar and put it in the fridge and use as needed.

I use Apple cider vinegar instead of lime because the lime goes butter over night and lemons can be very expensive where I live. I just use water, melon, cane sugar, Apple cider Vinegar and sometimes mint
