I'd forward the SBUs channel you use to control it to spare set of PWM pins on your flight controller..

Thanks for the review ,I have used a Bicks’s MultiView Duo ,in a recent cheater quad build very similar, its tiny and tricky to solder but works perfect, I ordered 2 from Ready Made RC in the states and with postage to the UK they worked out about the same price the Vifly, this hobby moves so fast, if you are not in a hurry and you can't source a component in your own country, don't worry it will be copied and available within weeks!

Definitely not a new idea, the first camera switch I looked at on the channel was almost 5 years ago..

For Betaflight or iNav use it's worth bearing in mind that some FCs have camera switching built in (Matek F722-SE, for example). But for existing builds this is a neat little add-on.

Congrats. Excelente explanation. I bought one this but I can not switch the camera on my TX16S transmitter. I am using a flysky receiver 6ch in a RC car. Everything ok with throttle and steering but I can not program headlight, horn and switch cam when in reward. But I am still trying.

Make sure you've setup the switch on the radio correctly. Plugging in a servo into the output on the reciever will show you if you have... Best of luck

Ok I know this is completely off topic but after checking your play list I didn’t find any video that could help me. Frsky has an inexpensive dongle that will allow you to control a flight simulator using my Frsky QX7. All of the simulators that I have seen are for multi rotor, so is there a simulator for planes and the Frsky dongle? Thanks for all your great videos, I’m sure you have helps load of folks. 73

Not really as it switches the video signal between the camera and VTX..

I really wish you made a video for having both analog and the o3 air unit for night flying/ or having the benefits from both recording from the hd camera with all the benefits of analog. I hope you still read these comments even though it's been yours, but I can't find any content like this

I'm not sure I understand the question. Why would you want both analogue and HD on the same model!? It wouldn't be tricky to add both but you'd need two goggles or screens. . Happy flying

FYI Drew and Bardswell both did excellent reviews of the concept actual flying. there is a particular technique for smooth switching. looks very cool, more flt boards / stacks every day with built in 2 camera systems ! what I don't understand is the TX setup ? keep your eye on ViFly ! If I’m using a flight controller and a frsky xm+ receiver, does the receiver still attach to the flight controller in anyway for power only and is sbus only attached to the camera switcher? Do all your transmitter controls commands pass through the camera switcher?

You'd connect the receiver to the FC and see if there is a way to present one of the PWM channels on a spare pin on the FC to control this thing. Lots of modern flight controllers have the ability to run, and switch between, two cameras now...

Hi Professor Lee. I soldered everything correct . I choose PWM pad. I cam see one camera one my goggles but unfortunately I can not switch for another camera. I think the problem is the receiver (FLysky FS-BS6). I bind it in my TX16S. 7th terminal just is used to bind. I programmed ch-5 and ch-6 but every time they has 7.4 volts (I checked with multimeter). What do you think ? Should I buy another receiver or do you think is possible fix this? Thank in advanced.

I'd test it with a simple servo checker connected to the switcher. If that will not trigger the swap then the wiring to the cameras or board itself my need replacing. Best of luck!

You need a screen with a AV input then wire in an AV cable from the FPS receiver using the GND and VIDEO signals from it.. Best of luck!

Hobbyking sell a 3 way switcher which i have been using for a couple of years now without any problems, it was also under £10, but it's a bit bigger than this neat little one, so this Vifly one is going to be very suitable for smaller builds. Great to see another inexpensive switcher on the market. I like the way you can solder the wires straight onto this one, the Hobbyking one uses servo type connectors - making it take up much more room than it would if you soldered the wires straight to it.

I’m designing a S&R drone with 2 gimbals, 2 VTX, with 2 cameras each. The third cam will be an upward view for help in wooded areas. Just setup the co-Pilot on a separate cam and RC, then , a little creative mixing makes it all work.

How to display the osd with this module...? I got no osd if i wire the Vout vifly to the vtx. When i wired up (parallel) the Vout from fc to vifly, the video feed getting worst.

Everything you need is in the manual. No support for CRSF so you'd use sbus or forward a channel on the FC..

@@Painless360 please consider a review of the Bick's Multiview Duo that I mentioned in another post. Nice thing is it the designer has a nice explanation of how to configure a FC for PinIO to use his switch. And the switch accepts PWM which is how I control my switch from my Crossfire Nano. Might be a bit more difficult to get in Europe but price wise in USD it is only 2-3 bucks more.
