Vigil for victims of deadly LI salon crash

A candlelight vigil was held Monday night on Long Island for the victims of Friday's crash in Deer Park that left four people dead, a poster outside the nail salon said. FOX 5 NY’s Arthur Chi’en has the story.

The bars should limit alcohol intake. Why should they serve one man eighteen beers. These bars should know the hazard behind drinking and make sure their patrons are sober enough to get behind the wheel if a vehicle. Such. a horrible loss.

You clearly don’t like to think. Drinking is to bid negligence and a drunk can never be prosecuted for hate crime. He didn’t act on “own’s will”. He didn’t just speed, sped straight into the shop. If drunk, wouldn’t there be incidental contact along the way? He knew what he wanted to do and did it.

@@DubCmusicTV@DubCmusicTV that is my neighbor. I live 5 minutes away from this. This was not a hate crime. The man was drunk out of his mind. Right before he crashed into the nail salon, he was in the Stop and Shop across the street trying to buy more liquor. He was kicked out. He was going across to buy more liquor. He was speeding across the street, blowing the light, and losing control. So, before you post misinformation, do your research.

Shame on the driver. He is to serve and protect, and he did the opposite. I live in the community, and the people here say there is a Stop and Shop across the street. He was there trying to buy more beer. The manager asked him to leave. He was mad that he was going across the street to get more alcohol. If he had money for alcohol, he should have saved that money and gotten an apartment. Now, he can be a permanent resident at the jail. I hope he rot in prison! Very sad for my community,
