The Vietnam War is a dark spot in American history. While being unpopular, the United States Government enacted the draft to send young men to the war. Those who were sent saw many tragedies occurred, which would affect them for the rest of their lives. When they came home, they were treated with disrespect as the soldiers were blamed for the war, not the people in charge. Karl McCardle was a soldier that was a part of the ASA, or the Army Security Agency. He was not involved in combat but he knew what happened. This documentary will tell his story and some of the tragedies of the Vietnam War.
