The problem is with only TT tanks mode is : 1. Longer queue times for the premium tank only game modebecause there's less premium tanks than TT tanks and some of the premium tanks doesn't even obtainable anymore 2. WG could make TT tanks OP 3. WG could release OP non premium tanks similar to the T249 like LAVD for example 4. Enjoyment equals player retention A game mode with only TT tanks would be more harm to WoT than a singel situational OP tier X SPAA

I hate this tank being in WWII mode as much as many here, but the same comments of the game dying have been posted for years. I remember the disastrous Fatherland op back in 2017 and people saying the game was dying. When WG’s went through their autoloader phase people said the game was dying. When the Valkyria tanks and comic book tanks came out years ago people said the game is dying (comic book mode…oh my the shouts were ear splitting). Mercenary tanks…yep...the same shouts of the game is dying. So many examples of the game dying. This tank is nothing new. Five years from now there will be a new tank that "shows" the game is dying…rinse and repeat.

Not quite. It's useless against superheavies. I've been enjoying being swarmed by these little gnats in my Type 5 Heavy... it doesn't go well for them at all! They can't even scratch the paint on my Type 5, and I can one-shot them with my derp gun! Loads o' fun! 🤗

If playing lights versus the Vigilante is painful, play a different class of vehicle, preferably one that the Vigilante can't blast you into oblivion... such as the Type 5 Heavy!

@Terrybulll I agree that you shouldn't have to avoid playing a class of tanks, but in reality, as long as WG is going to continue releasing ridiculously toxic tanks, we players need to find an effective work-around... at least, until WG finally decides to fix their screw-up. The Armadillo, the Taran, the AVRE, the Molot, the Era 3 Wiesel, the Era 2 Wiesel, and countless other vehicles were all touted as being "game destroyers" and "impossible" to compete against... until a few determined players looked for and found a way to rise above the butt hurt and persevere. Eventually, WG will probably nerf the Vigilante. But until they do, playing a vehicle that is up to the challenge makes more sense than throwing a tantrum, or suggesting that someone who offers a solution suffers from a debilitating mental condition. So, thanks for your expert medical advice, Doctor... but I'm doing just fine, playing the game and eliminating these dreaded "game-breaking" threats with ease and laughing my ass off as I do it! Everyone repeats the same crap over and over again on all these KZbin videos I’ve watched between this channel and many others. I just recently started playing again after almost 10 months. Before that I hadn’t played for 2 years. This game has turned into dog crap literally. I decided to take the leap and move to war thunder during my last quit. Don’t get me wrong it was scary and almost not worth the try based on how deep I am with this game. After 10 months of learning and a lot of patience, I can say I’m so happy I moved. War Thunder has problems for sure but damn Id rather deal with they’re smaller issues compared to this dumpster fire of a game. Once they took the path of fake tanks and stepped away from semi realism this game died. Most of the OG’s moved to other games or just quit. This game is extremely unpopular on console and if you think otherwise you are in denial. Unfortunately so many people who are left are afraid to admit it since they’ve sunk so much money and time into this game. Trust me, life moves on and you can too. If you really think you can’t, then I genuinely feel bad for you cause I was once there. IF YOU WANT ANY CHANCE TO FIX THE GAME THEN STOP GIVING THEM YOUR DAMN MONEY! It’s so simple and easy, they don’t have to change anything if people keep forking out money for the game. That includes everything NOT JUST OP TANKS. Stop paying for premium, conversions, Lesser Premiums or anything at all. If people actually united and you content creators collaborated to push an initiative to boycott the game until they started listening then maybe something could happen. Maps just needs to be bigger, this types of tanks in world of tanks pc isn't really a problem because of the scaling of the map. Same goes with the atgms/autocannons in cold war. The maps are just too small

To be fair, WWII mode is filled with tanks that were not around until years after WWII. We also have WWII mode tanks that never were around/never built but merely drawing board tanks. So historical accuracy has never been a thing in WoT. Having said that, this tank doesn't belong in WWII mode because it will wreck a lot of tanks with relative ease. Sure the super heavies are immune. But the lights, mediums, and some heavies can be shredded. Tier VIII tanks are going to get slaughtered.

After more than 7 years as a daily player with 67k+ battles completed, I'm painfully aware of WG's love affair with anachronisms! But, you're right... tons of vehicles in WW2 mode are apparently "time travelers," while others never even made it off the drawing board during any period of history. And then there are WG's beloved fantasy tanks, including (but by no means limited to) the Mercenary and Halloween tanks. WTF?! 🤷 And I agree that the Vigilante doesn't belong in the game in its current state, and until WG reins it in with a nerf, it's not gonna be any fun for any vehicle with light armor. I've been playing since console beta. I've put up with all the BS Wargaming has done in the last few years... this, this tank... I Uninstalled today. I got got clips out in my IS7 with full health. It's Fn stupid and wargaming is Fn stupid for bringing it into the game. Goodbye. Goodbye to my consistent premium account, goodbye to me using premium rounds, goodbye to me buying season passes. @TopAhmed1 from all the speed/ crew upgrades i put on the t249, it maxs out at 79 kph. It's base is 70 kph stock. Panzerwagon is still the fastest t10 light tank at a base 75 kph, I'm guessing fully upgraded with crew at equipment the wagon could top at between 85 to 89 kph max

@Paleolithics Not likely it's a premium tank, what are they gonna do nerf the shit out of and refund everyone? The game will adapt around it and it'll settle a bit. It's pretty heinous how fast it kills stuff, but it does breathe new life into superheavies and punishes unarmored tank destroyers which might be a good thing. It also makes rushing artillery a lot harder as an opposing light tank. It's kinda fun to play because it's like a tier X Pz I c which is neat.

It can completely clip out several tier ten heavies if it gets to shoot them in the back. Chieftain, t110e5, vz55, 60tp, amx m4 51, etc. It can pen every single medium from the rear as well, obviously. You think tank like the Leopard, Murat, M60, obj 430, or cent AX are immune to this thing? Thats not even taking into account the fact that this thing can and will fight tier 8s
