I honestly wish I could play my switch more. there just isn't enough games for it that I have especially. And the controllers being so far apart and the analog sticks positions and size make it very hard to play it like a portable device at least in shooters like this. I'm awful at shooters while using the switch hand held style.

I REALLY wanted to like DayZ, but it was pretty bad, especially on the XBONE. Massive lag, constant bugs, toxic players, terrible combat system, lack of a story to progress through, no ability to spawn with friends, server instability, etc. I loved the hardcore aspect and having to discover how things work, as those made the gameplay rewarding. I also liked the ability to bury items in the persistent map, the massive depth of loot and craftables, custom servers, etc. i would love to see a AAA company make a version of DayZ that was polished, fun, immersive, full of stories, etc. Fallout 4 made an attempt (Survival mode) and it was pretty fun, but it's not the same playing by yourself.

I don't think DayZ needs stories, it does need to be polished though. And there's nothing you could do about toxic players, they will always be in multiplayer games.

This game is a shooting survival game, where you can find materials to upgrade your house and find new weapons. There is a battle pass with loads of cosmetics and it is very fun to play. It is available on all platforms, it's free to play and I highly recommend it.

This is essentially Escape from Tarcov, but optimized for console, smaller map, but you have to upgrade your stuff to progress to get newer/better weapons/consumables... I love it.

I downloaded this yesterday and played some. Its alright. There's only two game modes. There seems to be no point in building the house up though, as you can't do anything on the map where the house is anyways. And because the main point of playing the game modes is to get supplies to build up your house, there doesn't seem to be a point to play the game modes either. Also, I'm sad that the main game mode is a battle royale. If you die, you lose all your loot and your loadout. Kinda sucks.

I've been playing Vigor since I dumped BFV about six months ago. Great game and looks amazing but it's broken and recent updates have just made it worse. Season four is bringing in mortar strikes which none of the playing community asked for or want, people are actually leaving the game because of the state it's in now. It also crashes, a lot.

I was one of the best players for vigor and at first I was in love with it. But after 5 hours of playing early access I got bored. So when it launched I expected more content or better gunplay or something but it was the same game. Im gonna redownload the game and see if it's improved at all but I'm not gonna keep my hopes up. I'm an avid dayz fan on Xbox and I think vigor needs to be a lot more like dayz machanics and gunplay wize.
